The KJV is not the standard by which we compare versions. Its a version, too.
The truth should be the standard for all versions to follow and so far, barring any new version, the KJV has no lie of the truth but other modern Bibles do.
All Bibles testify that the Holy Spirit cannot speak for Himself in John 16:13, and that means He cannot use God's gift of tongues which is of other men's lips to speak unto the people to turn it around for His own personal use in uttering His own intercessions for us when He cannot even utter His groanings in according to Romans 8:26 of the KJV. That is why verse 27 is a testimony about the Son in knowing the mind of the Spirit in how the Father knows of the Spirir's intercession because of the will of God that there be only one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus at that throne of grace.
So if you want a standard, the KJV by far, is holding to the truth in His words whereas other modern Bibles have declined from the testimony of the Son in Romans 8:27 and why many believers today that have fallen away from the faith in giving heed to seducing spirits & doctrines of devils by thinking they can receive the Holy Spirit apart from salvation and by a sign of tongues too... which tongues is not supposed to serve as a sign towards the believers about anything but towards the unbelievers; 1 Corinthians 14:21-22
Now is the truth important to you? Do you want a Bible that does not have Romans 8:26-27 contradict John 16:13? Then that is why, by the grace of God & His help, I choose the KJV because many have fallen away from the faith in these latter days as the focus is on the Holy Spirit in worship when the indwelling Holy Spirit would always lead His disciples to put the focus only on the Son in worship so that by honoring Him, they are honoring the Father. There is no other way to come to God the Father by.
So the truth is the standard and there can be no lie of the truth which most modern Bibles does not pass, but the KJV does
Only by trusting the Lord Jesus Christ as your Good Shepherd to show that truth to you is why the KJV is the one to rely on for the meat of His words to discern good and evil by in these latter days where faith is hard to find.
