No HE has not. HE has made it clear that all have sinned, not that all continue in sin that grace abound. How can we that are dead in Christ Jesus live any longer therein. For With man this is and was impossible. But with GOD all things are possible.
So you do teach sinless perfection? God has made it clear that all
have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) and He has also made it clear that if we
say we have no sin (present tense) we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us (1 John 1:8) and if we
say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.
In regards to "shall we
continue in sin" in Romans 6:1, the word "continue" means to practice or to habitually yield to sin, which is not descriptive of children of God (1 John 3:9). Living a sinful lifestyle is a daily practice of premeditated sin, with no goal or effort to stop. No repentance, just bring it on. This does not mean that believers never stumble and sin at all though.
In 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, we read that the gospel is the "good news" of the
death, burial and resurrection of Christ and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16).
The gospel is not a set of rituals to perform, a code of laws to be obeyed or a check list of good works to accomplish as a prerequisite for salvation. To BELIEVE the gospel is to
trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of our salvation, yet sadly, the gospel continues to be perverted today by works-salvationists, such as Roman Catholics, Mormons, SDA's and misguided, modern day teachers of the law in general.
Under the New Covenant, there is a distinctive element to the content of the gospel which is called "the mystery of the gospel" (see Ephesians 6:19 and compare with Colossians 1:26-27; 4:3). This new revelation is that the Gentiles are fellow-heirs and fellow-members of the body, and fellow-partakers of the promise (Ephesians 3:6). Such equality, Jew and Gentile united together in one body was previously unknown, prior to the apostle Paul receiving a revelation from Jesus Christ (Galatians 1:11-12; Ephesians 3:1-12). The distinctive message of the church is that Jew and Gentile alike may believe the gospel and be united together into ONE BODY (Ephesians 1:13; 1 Corinthians 12:13).
"He has made us competent as ministers of a
new covenant —
not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the
letter kills...the ministry that brought
death, which was
engraved in letters on stone...the ministry that
condemns" (2 Corinthians 3:6-9).
It sounds to me like you are confused about the gospel of grace and you also mix the Old and New Covenants together.
