Indeed there are only two comings of Jesus. At the rapture (1Th 4) Jesus does not return to earth. The Church ascends to meet Him in the air, without his ever coming to Earth. In Hebrew thought, the atmosphere is part of the heavens; so Jesus never leaves heaven at the time of the rapture.
How can he rule on earth without returning on earth?

Methinks you are ignoring some prophecies.

It is plainly written in the scriptures that tongues are translatable languages not foreknown by the speaker. Acts 2:6-8 tells us "And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together. and were bewildered, because they were each one hearing them speak in his own language. And they were amazed and marveled, saying,'Why, are not all these who are speaking Galileans? And how is it that we each hear them in our own language to which we we were born?'" So what had happened directly previous to this? Acts 2:2 "And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance," Languages, translatable languages, dialects. This also happened at Cornelius' house Acts 10:44-48
If one uses a translator, the speaker is speaking in His language and the translator is taking those words and turning them into the language of the person Hearing them....The concept is the same in the Bible. The Holy Spirit was the Translator for the believers.

It is obvious you don't understand how Pentacostal type denominations do tongues. In congregations of English only speaking people someone will start speaking in a non English language. Someone there will interpret what is being said. Both persons are ENGLISH ONLY SPEAKING. Go back to the drawing board and try again. There is no rational explanation for this but it takes place.

You are failing to distinguish between the Lord returning for His bride the church and returning to judge the world in righteousness. The rapture as we call it is a church specific event. It is not visible to the world which is the unsaved masses on the earth.

Jesus returns to judge the world at the close of the great tribulation. This is when Israel and the rest of the world see Him descend through the clouds touching down outside the Eastern gate of Jerusalem. From here Jesus will rule the earth through the millennium.

Jesus will never set foot on earth again. When He descends, thecdead in Christ will rise first then those alive in Christ will rise to meet Him in the air to live with Him forever. The rest go to judgement and destruction

Jesus most definitly will set foot on earth again..

Zechariah 14: KJV
1 "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. {2} For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. {3} Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. {4} ¶ And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south."

It's my understanding that the Rapture and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ are two separate events. In the Rapture, Jesus call us to him and the dead and the living transfigure and meet him in the air and go to Heaven for a short period of time. The Second coming of Jesus Christ literally Jesus sets down on the Mount of Olives. The mountain splits with a valley going east to west and the mountain becoming a saddle in map terms. Literally one half of the peak moves south and the other to the north. When Jesus comes at this time he is defending Jerusalem and establishing his Kingdom for the 1,000 year period. We will return with him for this task. We will be the saints in white robes riding white horses.

There is confusion regarding the eschatologyical (end times) views. While these verses are much plainer they are tied to the other eschatologyical portions of scripture. There are 4 seperate Biblical views of eschatologyical scripture.

You ignore the prophecies about Armageddon and Jesus with the angels putting an end to the attack on Israel. Also that He will rule the earth ruling from outside of Jerusalem.

The Son of God who is not a man as us remains not seen, without mother or father, beginning of Spirit life or end thereof.

Eternal God who abides as our high priest continually came as the Son of man temporally clothing himself with corruptible flesh, signified as sinful, for a one time promised demonstration of pouring out his Spirit not seen .

The promise was once. The veil is rent. We know him no more forever more that way. But rather walk by faith the unseen.( No more fleshly Jesus.)

2Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

Feet in various parables are used to represent the gospel. Just as mountains are used to represent kingdoms of this world.

Christ as the anointing Spirit of God will come down on the last day the second and final resurrection. The same day according to the Zechariah.

In that day the kingdoms of this world will be divided, just as dividing the sheep from the goats . The second and final resurrection will occur on the same day as judgement for those who know not Christ. They will not receive a new incorruptible body.

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms (mountains) of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Again we look to the unseen eternal, as that not seen, the faith coming from God principle.. The temporal as that seen will not be revealed again. It was a one-time demonstration (2Corinthians 5:16 )

Yes it does boil down to how a person interprets the spiritual understanding in that parable given in Revelation 20.

Since the whole book of Revelation is signified according to 2 Corinthians 4:18) searching out that meaning would be necessary . If we would make it about walking by sight after a literal interpretation we run into all kinds of snags

There is no biblical explanation that would fit the idea that we seek the approval of men rather than that of God .

God not seen is the interpreter. We do not know him after the private interpretations of men as you did offer.

Why have the faith of Christ as that which exclusively comes from hearing God in respect to men seen?

Do you seek the approval of God or that of men?

To seek the private interpretation of men is to make His interpretation without effect . Scripture calls that kind of work blasphemy.

You are going down a heretical path.
1. Jesus was a man subject to the sinful desires all face.
2. Jesus was God incarnate.

Denial of either of these facts is heresy!!

You have been indoctrinated into the pre-tribulation rapture belief..

I believe that the Bible supports a rapture happening on the day of the return of Jesus.. We shall meet him in the air and we will them be coming right back down to earth to rule the earth with Him for 1000 Years.. known as the millennial Kingdom.

The saints are in heaven, the marriage supper is ended, and we all proceed to earth for battle and take over of the planet.

That judgement you refer to is after the 1000 yr reign,at the second death, and LOF

Think about it..

My Idea of tongues:----Your message in Hebrew and the Holy Spirit gives you the gift of Tongues..... All of the Below hear you message at the same time in their own language.
-------Person listening to you hears it in English-------
------Person listening to you hears it in French--------
------Person listening to you hears it in German-------
-------Person listening to you hears it in Russian------

Your Idea of Tongues:Your Message in Russian------Only the Russian can understand you.
Repeat your message
Your Message in English-------Only the Englishman can understand you.
Repeat Your Message
Your Message in French-------Only the Frenchman can understand you.
Repeat Your Message
Your Message in German------Only the German can understand you.

Which one would be better........... The person who hears the message is the receiver of Tongues.

There by the Pentecostals cannot really speak in tongues, just jibberish and nobody understands them.
...
I got saved during the charismatic renewal.
I was the only one in my fellowship that did not have the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Tongues were common at every meeting.
I prayed and asked God for months for the baptism.
One Sunday God said "today you will receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. We had a new pastor, and whren he prayed for me nothing happened. Zip,zero, nada.
I walked out of the church very sad.
Thank you Jesus for spirit filled Holy Ghost women. They overheard my sad report.
They marched me back in,laid hands on me and it was AMAZING. It was like july 4th. Like lightning bolts were hitting my face.
They said "say something"!
Tongues POURED FROM MY SPIRIT.

Read those verses with my eyes, and you will SEE.

Well,sorta.

He returned to paul and john. physical returns.
He does not touch earth in 1 thes, or rev 14.
My reference was to show that the return on white horses in rev 19 is not the rapture.
It is "they" not me that accuse pretribs of several "comings"
If they knew their bible, they would see how ridiculous Gods word makes those statement look.
