I have been on this site for many months, and have only really participated in the chat rooms. I downloaded the app on my desktop, and have been using it just fine. RoboOp asked me if I would help test the new version, so I downloaded it, and we tested together. After we were done testing, he said he was going to remove my name from the test list, and he instructed me not to open that version afterword, but to uninstall it and download the older version, as it would ban me if I opened the new version.

Well I did that. I uninstalled the test version and reinstalled the older version, went to log in and it banned me. I thought it was just my username that was banned, so I logged out of the internet site to try and log in as guest and get some help in the chat. While in the chat as "guest" it said "guest 8047 banned.". I typed something and I was that user.

In conclusion, it seems as if my I.P. address has been banned. I messaged RoboOp personally about it but he was busy and he said he would help me when he gets a chance. I just figure the more people know about this, the easier it would be to remove my I.P. from the ban list.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Forget about the chat rooms and just hang out in the forums where the conversations are real and more in-depth. It's a good way to fellowship. Glad to have you join the conversation. Welcome to CC.

I prefer chat rooms due to their "face to face" feeling. That way you get the unadulterated responses from people who are teaching doctrine whether that be good or bad doctrine. It is easier to ask questions and get to the root of people's belief face to face rather than in the forums as people have a chance to think and reword and mess up without others knowing on the forums. I like to hear the tone and understand where someone is coming from upfront to see if they really know their theology or if they are just grabbing at air.

I love talking theology but many times in forums (as also in the Facebook debate groups I am in) people have a tendency to dogpile theologies that disagree with their opinions and it can get overwhelming when dealing with many people posting long replies with multifaceted questions and arguments, and can be difficult to keep up with. Especially since my theologies are very unpopular in most Christian circles and often gets ridiculed because it disagrees with people's feelings.

So I stick to the chatrooms and I'm there to fellowship on a more personal level.

Either way, I would like the moderators to see this post and help me out get back into the chat rooms :)

Actually I do sometimes. Depends on the topic. But the conversation flows more naturally in chat and I like the interactiveness of it.

Well I believe I do say what is necessary in order for someone to understand where I am coming from and the reasons behind why I do and say things. It's a thing, I don't expect you to understand. Like I said, I'm just looking for a moderator to remove me from the ban list so I can get back in chat.

Only one mod ever reads here. And it's not daily. Often not even seeming every week. Hoping for a mod in the forums is usually fruitless.

The only person that has the ability to fix your chat problem is RoboOp. No one else has access to the Admin controls for chat.

I have private messaged RoboOp in the past and he is always faithful to respond. Have you tried that, 5olas?

From his OP
"I messaged RoboOp personally about it but he was busy and he said he would help me when he gets a chance."
