uh...

pretty sure I recently read some comments from you that you were looking for a new church because your Vineyard church was going in a direction you didn't agree with

I don't care...but I am pretty sure you said that...and I didn't make an op about the Vinyard anyway so whatever
No, I said the preacher and a small following of young people are getting too weird for me. I would go directly to another Vineyard if there was one within 50 miles of us. But, there isn't one, so it is either make more than a hundred mile round-trip each week, or find something closer... even if it has a different name above the door.

Here is the website of the founders of Christalginment, they are parents of a very well known BSSM grad, Bethel Pastor and current BSSM teacher. The Hodges are also friends with Bill and Beni Johnson, so the giving the good ole boy Christian pass that Bill don't endorse it or know about it is about as leaky as s screen door in a submarine.

Christalignment - About

mheh

I know

God help us if Christians involve themselves in this and say it's God

well ok...was not sure how you worded it. not trying to offend here...but I did seem to remember something about it

but no problem here. seems every Vinyard church is different anyway

1. Your preacher is getting too weird... for YOU?

: )

2. If you're looking for a new denomination, I think there are a few Amish people in your area...
if you already have a beard, you're practically one of the family.

3. Please keep us abreast of your new Amish experience.

that's weak and you know it...

when was the last time God spoke to Israel through His prophets?

we now have the Holy Spirit and he takes His orders from God and is not at the disposal of self appointed prophets

nice dodge on the grave sucking though. again, is God in the grave?
Don't be dense. Whose bones were they lying on in the Bible? God's?

Thanks, but it looks like it is going to be a "Four Square" church. If we can handle it. Now, those people really ARE into some things we aren't used to.

You CLAIM you don't want to be Amish...

But then I found you starring in a music video.

No answer about the snakes? Oh, well.... I guess that is an entirely different thing.
What if God is actually telling some of these Bethel weirdest to use "Christian cards" to blow the minds of the Tarot Card Readers who come to laugh at Christianity?

No, I've ended too many people's lives to ever be Amish.

Well it doesn't hurt to dream Willie.

Somewhere there's a nice field of goats with your name on it.

well don't you be dense

be the first in your class to walk on water, heal people with a brass serpent on a pole and hand out manna

you know there are examples of what seems to be one offs in the Bible

people trying to reenact them is just irritating at best and dangerous at worst

excuse me while I go practice parting the waters on our pool

ooooo

and what if He isn't?

at any rate, if you have been paying attention the cards are not the invention of Bethel

why would we need to reenact your mystery Moses and the Egyptian dudes face off scenario? the original was better as is so often the case with remakes :p

the cards are not Christian cards because some practioners of hoodoo, crystal energy reading fortune telling not Christians say they are

ps...you are reeeeeeeeeeaaaally stretching it now LOL!

It comes down to.... Neither you, nor I, nor anyone on here, has the foggiest idea if God wants this to be going on or not. I am quite sure none of those people back at the snake scene knew, one way or another, if God was instrumenting that whole happening. They had no book they could open to tell them God said,"I'm going to do a big snake act."

They knew as much about that deal as we know about this card thing. They were just as sure as you are that God DID NOT make snakes out of walking sticks.

What did Gamaliel tell the big wigs at the Sanhedrin? "Be CAREFUL! If this is of God, you might find yourself fighting against God. If it isn't, it will all fail anyway."

We are told little things like this in the Bible for a reason.

like I said, let me know when you walk on water

some people seem to think Jesus came to earth to give goosebumps

Bereans

be one

understand that people can and do know what is and what is not of God even if YOU personally do not

you can count yourself out, but God says that we can know, we should know and if no one knows, then maybe everything is just imagination

You seem to already be navigating that judgmental water quite well. I will simply wait on God.

Are you talking about this?
Called “Destiny Reading Cards,” charismatics – some associated with Bethel Church in Redding, California – are engaging in what is essentially tarot card reading.

[/COLOR]They call it a “reading” and refer to the program as “Christalignment.” They don’t do “predictions,” but they will help empower your destiny rather than control it. Using what is essentially tarot cards, they do a “reading” about relations, jobs and issues to help people “make better decisions in the future.”
Do you really have doubts as to whether God approves of this or not?

Acts 19:
19) Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

"Destiny Reading Cards" are along the same line as tea leaves, palm reading, Ouija boards, and other "curious arts".

You should be old enough to know to be extra wary of any article that tells you what "They" and "Them" are thinking and doing. All you are getting fed to you is the accuser's own mindset.
