Don't take this the wrong way lightbearer, but would you be of a similar persuasion to LGF?
No problem thank you being courteous. To answer your question Yes and I have addressed him not to long ago about something similar. It was no where near as bad as the posts to which I am addressing now. He should remember ask him.

That is what you are doing. That is all you do. What is sad is, that you have been told this by many witnesses yet continue to do so. I think you thrive on contention.

Post in relation to the topic of the thread or move on with this. It matters not to me; but please know I will not be continuing this topic anymore. I said what needed to be said. So get the last word in.
I most certainly will get the last word in, and it will be truthful. :)

I've shown your behavior, and you're still doing it above! It is a well known fact you pull this on any others here, and when you argue, accuse, point fingers, name call, which you do daily, cause contention and division you deny it and pretend that since you are doing it, it is OK. Then you make threads to attack others, insult, and accuse hoping they will be banned or something, all the while you behave in the same manner as you accuse! Romans 2:3, friend?

Show me where I've name called and allegedly committed all you accuse. I'm waiting. You see contention only when you are confronted and dismantled, then you insult the person doing it. That is the definition of contention to you: exposing your error and behavior. Unbelievable, but true.

Either substantiate your accusations on me, or you are left as one bearing false witness.

Also, actually address my posts, not my person? Perhaps? Like man up for once?

Ellen G. White is a false prophet. That is a fact. Address that, not me.

I am defending the persons whom you attack and accuse of trolling when all they are doing is exposing your error. That is how you address their posts, you avoid the issue and attack the person with insults.

I also defend the Gospel against your false gospel and false teachings as well as many others on this forum do toward you as well. God bless them in this endeavor!

If you come against his teachings (and false prophets) it is hate, insult, and contention. If he comes against others who do this it is love. :D

The Roman Catholic Church and the fallen Protestant Churches will demand that the government enforce religious laws to bring the people back to God.....
You do a lot of cut n paste from websites. Anti Adventist websites at that.

The LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. The circumcision made without hands in the cutting off the body of the sins of the flesh. We are a new Creature in Christ Jesus. Behold all things are to new and of GOD! For He was manifested to take away our sin and in Him is no sin. For it was not possible for the blood of bulls and the ashes of a heifer to take away sin. If it were would they not have ceased to offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience (our inner self; who we are) from dead works (Sin; for the wages of sin is death) to serve the living God? Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being separated from our sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will in no wise be in my remembrance.

T
he LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

The Prophecy found and Jeremiah has been available since the time that GOD used Moses as HIS instrument to reveal HIS Grace .

If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

For this commandment which I command thee this day.

Which commandment?

The one found in the previous verse.

"To keep HIS commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law." Please notice that the judgements is not mentioned.

Why?

Because HIS commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. So there was to be no need for any judgements contained there in if they have received this circumcision made without hands.
This Book of the Law encapsulates everything that GOD would have us be in Christ. For He was to be the first among many brethren! This is why Paul said Christ is the point aimed at in regards to the Law to all them that believe. In saying that he continues and broadens the scope by quoting Deut 30:10-14.

By doing so he included the Gentiles in what was written; the circumcision made without hands.

Which by the way they would have looked up the verses Deut. Because at the very least these are the Scriptures they would have had access to; the Pentateuch.

Paul knew this. That is why he quoted it. He knew they and any Israelite with them would look it up. And in doing so they would have made this connection..

But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ (Anointed; GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law. In other words the Word; the Divine utterances) down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ (Anointed; GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law. In other words the Word; the Divine utterances) again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word (the Divine utterances; Christ the Anointed; GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law.) is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: (that thou mayest do it) that is, the word of faith, which we preach.

We have been made able bodied ministers. Not of the letter but of the Spirit. Not in Tables of stone but in the fleshly tables of the heart. For this, HIS commands and HIS Statutes which are written in the Book of the Law are written in our hearts and in our minds and in our mouths and in our hands that we do them. Christ in us the hope of Glory. The Gospel. For it is HE that works in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. The circumcision made without hands.

He's not trolling. Ellen G. White is a false prophet. Whenever you are proven wrong, challenged, dismantled you go to the callow "trolling, name calling, personal attack!!!" false accusation. It's ad nauseam really. And ad hominem.
I've never heard LB quote Ellen white even one time in all the post's I have read of his. Can you show me where LB is a follower or disciple of White? And why you would use the words of some dead preacher to condemn him?

True. Even on earth, Jesus was accused of not keeping the 4th commandment. Remember we are living under a New Covenant, so why the emphasis on the Old Covenant?
Oh please !!!!! who accused Jesus ? are you taking the Pharisees accusation serious as if Jesus was offending against God His Father ?
Jesus did keep the 4th Commandment in the way GOD wanted it kept...always !!!
LOVING God and neighbour will stand FOR EVER !

I never claimed or even meant that it was the intention of the poster, but none the less it was misrepresentation. To say accused is not accurate to what happened, they were mistaken I pointed it out. A misrepresentation of what is written:

not intended by the religious leaders of that time and place were not subject to the Law they made their own Law, so intended or not (not intended) it was not a true statement;

You are very white knight like but on the other hand freely calim to know what i do and compare me with the likeness of a pharisee.

No worries tho, I know the pharisees made their own Law, I sunmit to YHWH, not perfect but I know His way is right none the less.
I don't see it as you do but if you want to take offense I can't stop you.

I have little or no agreement with the Hebrew Roots movement; but, I try to refrain from unflattering comparisons because I see no purpose in them.

Jesus said "If you Love Me, keep My Commandments." The Bible says Jesus, before becoming a man, created the Sabbath. Jesus said the Sabbath, He created, was created for man. I am a man.

So loving Jesus in the way He defines it, is following His Commandments, one of which is remembering to keep the 7th day of the Week, that He created for me, Holy.

I'm OK with that even if "MANY" who come in His Name are not.

Perhaps they attempt to keep holy the Sabbath because God said in the Ten Commandments to remember to keep holy this day and they are choose to do so and allow themselves to be guided by the Holy Spirit.
Few of us, if any, find fault with Sabbath observance. What is objectionable is putting other people under Law when Scripture teaches we are indeed NOT under Law. I f a person chooses to observe the Sabbath, for whatever reason, I have no quarrel with them; in fact, I do it myself. If a person teaches that Salvation depends on Sabbath observance; I will oppose them.

Exodus 20:8-11King James Version (KJV)

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Notice it is written in the third person. Otherwise it would say, "I made the earth in six days."

Neither do I "kick against it."

Salvation definitely does not depend on observing the Sabbath or water baptism either for that matter, only a contrite confession of sins, Jesus dying on the cross for these sins and inviting the Holy Spirit to live in our hearts and to guide us on our spiritual journey.

We keep forgetting the New Covenant is not the Old Covenant. Here are the commandments of Jesus and nowhere does it say about the Sabbath, Mind you, I do think we should remember the "Lord's Day."

1. "Forgive everybody of all their offences against you."
2. "You must be born again."
3. "Abide in me, and let me abide in you."
4. "Let people see your good works." (do not hide your light under a basket.)
5. "End disputes quickly."
6. "Whatever causes you to sin, get rid of it."
7. "Do not swear oaths at all."
8. "Do not return offence for offence." (Turn the other cheek.)
9. "Give what people ask of you, and give more than is required." (Go the extra mile.)
10. "Love your enemies and those who work against you."
11. "Give to the poor to please God, not to gain approval from other people."
12. "Pray privately and simply, not to impress other people."
13. "Make your prayers be like the Lord’s Prayer."
14. "When you fast, do it secretly, not for show."
15. "Store up your treasures in heaven, not on earth."
16. "Do not worry about your material needs."
17. "Do not worry about the future."
18. "Make God your highest priority, and he will take care of all your needs."
19. "Do not judge other people." (Judge not, lest ye be judged.)
20. "Do not give holy things to dogs or cast your pearls before swine."
21. "Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, comfort those in distress."
22. "Follow the narrow path to life." (enter by the narrow gate.)
23. "Beware of false prophets."
24. "Exercise power over unclean spirits."
25. "Love little children, do not despise them."
26. "Do not take the titles 'master' or 'father' for yourself."
27. "Resolve disputes in an orderly way, like this . . . "
28. "Do not oppose other believers in Christ who are not in your group."
29. "Have total faith in God for everything."
30. "Be like the good Samaritan." (go, and do likewise.)
31. "Love other people as i have loved you"
32. "Eat bread and drink wine in remembrance of me."
33. "Wash one another's feet."
34. "Be merciful."
35. "Go and teach all nations, baptising them."
36. "Keep my commandments."
37. "Be prepared for your master to return."

Nice cut an paste, but you forgot a few.

11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

Nothing you posted changes the fact that Jesus created His Sabbath for man. It is His Commandment, He followed it as did the Apostles.

If you want to preach a Jesus that didn't create the Sabbath, you are free to do so. But the Jesus of the Bible is Lord of the 4th Commandment, along with the rest of the Law and Prophets. This is the Jesus I serve.

Your example is a good one and so is Christ's parable of the Good Samaritan. Jesus also healed on the Sabbath and did other things. The Orthodox Jews think you should not do any work at all on the Sabbath.

So what do you think was Christ's message to us all?

His message is clear. Don't listen to the Mainstream Preachers who "transgress the Commandments of God by their own Traditions".

The Jews taught you couldn't help a brother in need on God's Sabbath. God never did. "Many" refuse to accept the truth that the Mainstream Preachers of Christ's time were not preaching God's Word. They were preaching their own.

They created their own Sabbath. They created their own Laws. They created their own High Days. They created their own "Images of God" after the likeness of man.

It was never against the God of the Bible to take a Sabbath walk and eat a blackberry. It was never God's Law to leave a brother hurt and in pain until after the Sabbath was over. They had created their own Law, and placed it on the necks of the people.

Matt. 23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

Jesus' message was never to reject God's Words or Commandments EVER. That is a teaching of todays "Mainstream Preachers" who, like those of Christ's time, have created their own laws, their own Sabbaths, their own High Days and their own image of God in the likeness of some long haired men's hair shampoo model.

I think we should listen to Him and "Take Heed" of the "many" who come in His Name, but "Transgress the Commandments of God by their own man made traditions."

The big problem is that they make the Sabbath a salvation issue: "we are saved by grace through faith, provided we keep the Sabbath", this is what they say.

If the Old Testament laws were binding on Christians certainly Paul would have written about it in his letters, because Gentiles had no clue how to keep them.
