Anyway, I don't run into any of them... but if I DID, would I be able to recognize it? If I'm an apostate christian, would I recognize the flaws in my life. For that matter, does anybody, even a REAL christian, recognize the flaws in his own life?

And speaking of flaws, I notice there was nothing in that list about judging other people... Bible does say a few things about that.

If a genuine believer can commit apostasy then that is to totally reject Jesus as the son of God who died and rose again.

A Pharisee would care a LOT about other christians' condition. Mostly they check other people to make sure the outside of the cup is clean.

Then why do we need this list?

Ooooh, I know! So we can make sure the people we know are all real christians! We can use this list to check all the people around us who SAY they are christians, and make sure they are REAL christians. Cool! I'm gonna go do an inventory of all my friends now. Don't want to be surrounded by fake christians.
