I'm almost terrified by the thought of turning 42 later this year...brrrrrr ...lol.

Thanks, Magenta. In my case it wasn't an illness, but a medical condition that required me to drastically change my diet.

That reminds me of when my daughter was born at 24 weeks gestation weighing under a pound and a half... one of the nurses said something to the effect of how sick my daughter was, I was like, what??? You mean she is sick, too? :eek: I think I befuddled the nurse :o
 
So watching the Saints/Panthers game I checked the Golden Globes and everyone is dressed in black. They're protesting all the sexual harassment against women that has been going on. They're people complaining about this and I have no idea why. Yes I get it you hate Hollywood but what's wrong with what they are protesting. Millions of people watch this show so they took a stance here. Good for them.

Just to set the record straight. Deep thought was the computer they built to get the answer to the ultimate question. But deep thought wasn't powerful enough to compute the question and gave them the design for a bigger better computer to compute the question. The computer was built but it was so big that it was often mistaken for a planet. It was called earth and everything was going along fine until some idiots came along and blew it up to make room for the interstellar bypass about 5 minutes before it's computation was complete. So then they had to rebuild it, and I forget what happened next.
 
The Taco Bell frito burrito is a good thing. Cheap, delicious and it's fun to say "frito burrito" for some reason.

The Taco Bell frito burrito that you didn't have stomach capacity to eat at the time, so you put it in the fridge and reheated it the next morning... not such a good thing. Those fritos aren't crunchy any more.

Yes, and as I recall the mice were furious. They were the ones who had paid for the whole thing.
 
I didn't hardly sleep last night and I was feeling discouraged. I prayed for some encouragement today because, well, adulting is hard! I took a nap with my babies and found that encouragement sitting on my kitchen table. It had come in the mail.

I feel very blessed and thankful
 
Being an adult is indeed hard and especially more so when you are a single mom with no one to help you. Naps are a good thing. Encouragement, even in a small matter is always helpful too.

It has been ages since encouragement has come visiting.

Art Montgomery has put a huge deposit into my walk.

But aside from outside encouragement i have learned to encourage myself.
Focus and perspective is one benefit from reading the word.

But anyway,thank you Jesus for other believers that minister and impart the oil of encouragement.

Makes sense. Even God said He'd rather we be hot or cold for Him. Lukewarm (apathetic) is nothing at all.
