I have something to add to the wedding thread, Please Lord let it happen sooooooooooooooooon!
 
Make sure it's real. Either real gold or sterling silver. Not the silver-plate, gold-tone crap they sell today that turns your finger green when it tarnishes...

Personally I don't like gold. All my rings are of sterling silver, and they don't tarnish.. :cool:

I'm a gold and diamond type of person myself. Absolutely, no silver-plate, gold tone crap or zirconium either for that matter. Any bride to be deserves a decent engagement ring and wedding band.
 
I’m weird, maybe it’s a hipster thing but I love the idea of a pearl engagement ring and just a simple wedding band. Gold and pearl, very simple. Maybe because I don’t want something flashy? I don’t know.
 
Can you believe me and Blainy will be going on 3 years together?? In February it wil be, adorably, on Valentines Day, because we can’t seem to remember the exact day xD
 
I love the idea of "upcycling." Which is basically taking something that is old, refurbishing, and then making it into something useful! Bonus points, it's cheaper!! XDD
