Why is there such an automatic assumption on the part of some people here that Lizzie-Marie is supposed to be ashamed of her ink? She probably really likes them, and they may be some beautiful works of art. Her question was how to handle the self-righteous Stuffed-Shirts in her congregation.
We know. But, it is a big country, and it is difficult to direct you to someone in your own city when that is unknown.
For instance, I am in the US... in the city of St. Petersburg, in the state of Florida, in a district called, Disston Heights.

Well not judging is good. It should still be right on the money. God doesnt want us to have tatoos. Which means we gotta accept its a sin if we like it or not.
That doesnt mean that if u repent and come to God that they will disappear.
Also ...ppl should let her live. We cant sugarcoat it but also dragging her through the dirt like someone else is doing is just as bad.
What worries me is that she thinks its okay and wants to get more. Thats the only thing
Besides that, heck if ppl wanna tear her up about that lets start with the adulterers, drinkers,smokers,fornicators etc. Because no one here is clean and never sinned.
It makes no difference if u got tatooes in the past or did something else. U shouldnt do it, did it anyway...hold up the mirrors lol
thank you, and I agree, but ...... if I were to get another tattoo, does that take away my right to be one of Gods children? I understand if He doesn't want us to scare our body, but I still carry Him with me always , honour Him, Love Him, worship Him .... isn't that what's important, and not on how I add more ink to my body ?
Im not God. The way to hell is full of good intentions. If God doesn't want u to do something he has a reason, we shouldnt rebel against someone almighty. Theres a difference if u sin unknowingly, than knowingly. Being forgiven happens when we repent and (try) stop the things God hates.
When u sin knowingly u rebel against God and I dont think u wanna be held accountable for something if u can avoid it.
Honestly, i want a tatoo and piercing but the fear of God keeps me from doing it.
If u love and fear God u can leave things aside like that. How long have u been saved?

I see, well I have been in and out of faith since my 20s , (I'm now 28), I had not a great experience at the first church I ever attended, that was over 3 years ago, and it kind of put me off since, until a month ago, I felt it, and I haven't looked back. so really, I have been curious all my life. I'm the only believer in my family, or one that reads and studies the bible, so its been a little difficult to express, until now.
If I were a woman, I think I would have a hard time doing my hair (maybe dying it) putting on makeup and eye shadow, and lipstick, wearing perfume, spending big $ on clothes and shoes, etc............ then telling ANYONE they were wrong for getting a tat. I just can't misread God's word that badly.

Hiding the tattoos in shame is the right thing to do.
Further vandalizing a Temple of the Holy Spirit would be wrong.
If people don't want to hear the answer, they shouldn't ask the question!
I know that feeling. I have had 2 churches which (if i hadn't known better) would have driven me off too. It took me 3 years of going from church to church tonfind a, place that felt right...and its a african church where im the only caucasian lol!
Now i can understand your struggle better because if u fall back and forth its kinda hard to really commit yourself. Especially if ur in a place where u dont feel comfortable.
When u wanna do something u should always try to think if Jesus would do it. Sometimes u do something anyways and months or years later you feel stupid for doing it.
I pray that God reveals to u the things that are ok and what not. Sometimes we like to compromise but that is the worst u can do.
And i pray u get to meet God and have freedom
Theres ppl who have small tatooes in the face...should they wear a burka?
