I’m sorry. I misunderstood your post. Please forgive me. I actually thought you were another poster stating that ye are gods is a true statement as children of god and the we have the right to claim that authority

sorry for misunderstanding and responding so quickly in that manner

The Psalms passage makes more sense if one remembers Deuteronomy 32 8-9
8
When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance,
when he divided mankind,
he fixed the borders[a] of the peoples
according to the number of the sons of God.
9
But the Lord's portion is his people,
Jacob his allotted heritage.

The Lord divided the nations among the sons of the Most High.
Now the psalms passage makes more sense being as it refers to these rulers as sons of the Most High. They were given rulership over the nations, did a bad job, and now they themselves are being judged. The judgment they receive is losing their immortality, “they will die like men” sons of the Most High do not die:
Luke 20:36
36 for they cannot die anymore, because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
Sons of the Most High being judged to die like men makes a whole lot more sense then mortal men being judged to die like mortal men.

Yes sir, that, and who it is that's in us doing the works.

Mar 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

I say again,

Joh 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

It's ALL about JESUS.
Without Jesus, we can do absolutely nothing supernatural.
Jesus IS the power of God, and He is in us.
That is, to those who believe.

and when Jesus says He is the Son of the Most High, what He "really" means is that He is a common mortal man judge like any other judge we see walking around today? to believe Jesus is more than that is a strawman?
and what of those men of the skies, no one wants to explain how they got up there?

I already clearly explained what Jesus means here.

I don't want to derail the thread but I'm of the opinion Jesus taught in Greek. That is why the Gospels are written in Greek. It explains why so many Greek gentiles came to hear Jesus. Jesus and His disciples were Gallileeans (Greek speakers). Many of His disciples had Greek names. The Gospel and New Testament authors quote mainly from the Greek OT Bible. What language did Jesus have a conversation with Pilate and all the Roman solders He met along His time here on earth? Probably Greek. I'm sure He spoke in at least 3 languages much like Europeans today can speak in more than one language.

Earlier I mentioned the lingua francca had been Armaic, and it was previous and almost until Christ's first advent, but I believe it became Greek.

Now Israel was under the powers of Rome while C hrist was teaaching, so if one were to believ He taught in another language, and even thought the Gospels are said to be originally in Greek, would not the most natural assumption be that He taught in Latin? Not that I believe He would have.

No matter, these are just human thoughts thrown out by me, not important. I do not want to argue about certain aspects that do not deal with Salvation. God bless all who are in Jesus Christ, Yeshua, amen.

WOF'rs faith is in themselves being a god but this section of Scripture is about having faith in Jesus Christ being God.

And you know this is a lie. We spoke of the truth of what the scripture is saying.

Jesus said about Himself, " I exist in equality with Father". Speaking that He and Father are one. Hevthen prayedvthat we would be one with them, but the words I exist were left out. His prayer was that we would be equal with Him as members of His body, and not without His power. Forbour goalnis to live, move, and have our very being in Jesus. Letting Him flow from us. It doesn't make us a god, but His helper on earth.

Look at the words in Greek. Do your own studies. There are those misinterpreting, true, but so are you all.

stupid ipad rolls words together but I think it's readable.

It is an interesting subject to me since the Scriptures state it was "the fullness of time" for Christ to be revealed and what better time than when the known world was at last sharing a single language, the Greek language, as a result of the Hellenistic empire built by Alexander the Great and his successors.

Philippians 2 again

even the angels do not bring railing accusations but leave all things to the ONE who will
judge and rebuke

the “authority” that we have (which are gifts for the well-being and good of others) is leading and reconciling the lost to GOD by preaching CHRIST as HIS WITNESSES

We don’t go beyond that ministry

Why do you people keep injecting yourselves into the discourse here in John 10:34? Why the narcissistic obsession? It's all about Jesus and His Deity. It has nothing to do with you.

The fullness of time required Mary as the vessel
JESUS had to come into the world in the pattern of a man

All prophecy had to be fulfilled

But the fullness of time could also mean that the earth was ready. We finally all shared one language (Greek) and the Romans had connected the world together with an infrastructure of roads which now could speed the message of the Gospel.

No that’s not what it means because we DIDNT share one language which was NOT an obstacle to the HS as Acts 2 clearly shows

It is His prayer. We are His body. He's recreating His people, us, who believe into His image as we "see " Him. Holy Spirit and His giftings are given that we might be powerful witnesses of His glory.

Its all aboutbJesus and we living in His truth.

On the contrary.

The Greek language is spread over an area of 5.2 million km2, from Egypt to India, and becomes the international lingua franca. It constitutes the main language of communication, learning and trade among hundreds of different ethnic groups;
