The church will have been gathered prior to God's wrath and will therefore not even be on the earth during the time of God's wrath, because we are not appointed to suffer God's wrath (Rom.5:9, 1 Thes.1:10, 5:9, Rev.3:10). Those who will be here, will be the woman/Israel, those 144,000 who come out of Israel, the great tribulation saints who are all Gentiles and the wicked. It is the wicked who will worship the beast, his image and receive his mark.
'God's wrath is the 3rd woe and it is sinners who are affected. The previous two woes can and does cause death and pain for many people
Re:12:12:
Therefore rejoice,
ye heavens,
and ye that dwell in them.
Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea!
for the devil is come down unto you,
having great wrath,
because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Re:8:13:
And I beheld,
and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice,
Woe,
woe,
woe,
to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels,
which are yet to sound!
We are even given the sequence that the 3rd woe takes as it reclaims the whole earth for God.
Jer:25:29-33:
For,
lo,
I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name,
and should ye be utterly unpunished?
Ye shall not be unpunished:
for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth,
saith the LORD of hosts.
Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words,
and say unto them,
The LORD shall roar from on high,
and utter his voice from his holy habitation;
he shall mightily roar upon his habitation;
he shall give a shout,
as they that tread the grapes,
against all the inhabitants of the earth.
A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; f
or the LORD hath a controversy with the nations,
he will plead with all flesh;
he will give them that are wicked to the sword,
saith the LORD.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts,
Behold,
evil shall go forth from nation to nation,
and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth:
they shall not be lamented,
neither gathered,
nor buried;
they shall be dung upon the ground.
Do not confuse the trials and tribulation that Jesus said believers would experience because of their faith, with God's coming wrath. From the on-set of the church believers have been suffering those trials and tribulation that Jesus said we would have and continue to do so to this very day. But what is coming is God's direct, unprecedented wrath via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments. It is this wrath, God's coming wrath that the church is not appointed to suffer and we therefore must be gathered from the earth prior to the first seal being opened according to his promise.
Only the 7 vials are the wrath of God on the day Jesus returns. The wrath at the end of the 1,000 years is much greater as Jesus melts Satan's Babylon and God does the same to the rest of the world when Satan is sent to the fiery lake.
The church will not be here to see those events of wrath, which will decimate the majority of the population of the earth and dismantle all human government.
Yes we will.
Re:1:9:
I John,
who also am your brother,
and companion in tribulation,
and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ,
was in the isle that is called Patmos,
for the word of God,
and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
