Lord, how do I truly understand your Words?
I lean not on my own understanding.
I have faith in what I have heard you speak,
yet don't completely know all of your great mysteries.

Lord, your Spirit fills me with joy and peace,
for prayers answered and tomorrow if it comes.
Your healing hands are strong but gentle,
holding me and mending my broken heart.

Lord, I lift up my eyes toward your heavens.
I thank you for your many lessons,
taught with your unfailing love.
I praise you for your many blessings.

By the way, that poem reminds me of the song "Thy Will" by Hilary Scott and the Scott Family. Have you heard it before?

Yes, she is (or at least was) part of the country group Lady Antebellum. As a matter of trivia, her mom is Linda Davis, who sang a duet with Reba McEntire "Does He Love You (Like He Loves Me)".

Oh yeah...now I know who she is! Its been awhile since I listened to secular music...that would explain my derr moment...lol
