How does one know which spirit is leading them?
By their fruits......

You can be lead by the Holy Spirit when reading the KJV no doubt. He will speak to you through it. He will not rage against his own work in another dialect. He will not attempt to thwart salvation by turning men away from the gospel. You should know you are in error if you are lead to tear down the body of Christ and attempt to sew division.

So take a look at the fruits of the KJVO movement.

1) Arrogance
2) divisiveness
3) slander
4) Hypocrisy
5) misapplication of scripture
6) irrational fear
7) control

Not The Holy Spirit

Perhaps not in your heart, but something is driving you to put on that front.
I like your honsesty... thanks. I think my passion for what I believe may come off the wrong way sometimes. :)

See the Apostle Paul...many thought those same things concerning him. Why? Because he had passion for the word of God and would defend it against all falsehoods.

You believe Jesus, that's the important thing. You understand God's revealed plans through the KJ Bible, I don't doubt that. It's his word. You can never ever read another translation your whole life, that's not a problem that I can see. Just lighten up a bit with the rest of us please. Some people hear The Holy Spirit through modern English.

How many more times?
The Apostle Paul didn't read, write or speak King James English.

Why can I not defend The Word of God which I read against lies and false accusations?

You want: 1 rule for you. A different rule for me. A freedom for yourself. A restriction on me in the same area.
That is hypocrisy.

And sheer arrogance.

Do you have a bible you believe to be THE holy, pure words of God without mixture? Do you trust every word you read to be the exact English word? Do you believe your bible with all sincerity and truth? If so, defend it against all others, because that would make all others false bibles.

Not everyone speaks in English. What is the proper bible for those people? In your opinion, of course.

I think God gave his perfect word in all languages. I don't speak those languages so I have no idea which it woud be. He was able to speak other languages at Pentecost so we know he can do it. :)

I must agree with KJV1611. I do not think there is a verse saying that God hates someone.

And the Ezau example from Romans really seems to be about allegorical symbol of two nations...

Mmmm God didn't hate Esau the person, what a liar God would be if he did so. That verse is "the word hidden within the word". Esau - first born represents the flesh, Jacob - second born reprents being born again of the spirit.

God doesn't hate people and he doesn't contradict himself. If he says he is no respecter of persons in one place then he's not a respecter of persons in another place.

Can you see why the Jews absolutely hated Jesus for the things he said i.e. "Eat my flesh..." Jesus was giving them the gospel in code words and they absolutely hated him for it.

The letter (the written word) killeth, but the spiirit (word within the word) bringeth life.
The scripture states that God hated Esau.

There is no way around the scripture of God.
It behooves us all to accept the truth.

What does it matter what any ancient writtings say, and who cares if 500 manuscripts line up and ONE is different, does 500 wrongs make a right? Besides is it not common sense that Christ brought peace and good will to ALL men and not just the "saved" people... i'ts beyond me why anybody would even doubt the statement.
People are blinded by what they believe and turn away from the faith they pretense they have.
And so, when the truth hurts they double down.
They were grown men that covered their ears and murderously rushed upon wise Stephen when the Holy Ghost spoke through him. Acts 7.

Verily verily I say unto you-

I assure you and warn you in the strongest possible terms that it is not The Holy Spirit that has lead you into this wicked deception. I hope you will be set free and very soon.
