I didn't bring up numbers on this thread others have so I have responded. Do you take issue with the number 7 too? There is a biblical reason God had Naaman dip in the Jordan 7 times...I think we can agree God could have cleansed Naaman with 1 dip but chose 7 for a reason. As a matter of fact I will not discuss it here any more. I think I will start a new thread! :)

I am aware to a limited degree about the Hebrew and Greek. Not about the King James. I am not interested in these teachings so don't bother.

I agree with you on the numbers, they're just as much a part of understanding the bible as the words are. Start a thread on it, you probably know some patterns I'm not aware of.

Depends. I think that one of your argument against NIV(?) was some verse about origin of Christ. So, it can be probably discussed in this thread, but as you wish.

I do not know, there are some verses that can mean what you think it means.

My verses are different and these ones are my argument:

"The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. "
Heb 1:3

"The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
The Lord shall send out a rod of power for thee out of Sion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
With thee is dominion in the day of thy power, in the splendours of thy saints: I have begotten thee from the womb before the morning [star].
The Lord sware, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever, after the order of Melchisedec. "
Psalm 109 (110 in masoretic)

"The Lord made me the beginning of his ways for his works.
He established me before time began, before he made the earth: even before he made the depths; before the fountains of water came forth: before the mountains were settled, and before all hills, he begets me."

Trof you're confusing the eternal God - Jesus Christ with the FLESH BODY God MADE for him. God didn't make the eternal Christ, he prepared a body for him. Christ did not begin to exist when he came in human form.

All the verses you posted are just saying that it HAS ALWAYS BEEN God's plan to incarnate in human form to save the world.

Of course Christ did not begin to exist in his bodily incarnation.

He was begotten before the time began. I do not know how you can say it was 2000 years ago and about his body.

This is the day Jesus was begotten:

[h=1]Acts 13:33 King James Version (KJV)[/h]33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

Begotten of the Father is talking about the physical body Christ incarnated.

More evidence that Christ is eternal and did not "come out of the Father".

For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

His name is ETERNAL FATHER.

Jesus and God are one.

I think He is eternally begotten of his Father and some verses can mean (as you propose) his bodily incarnation as "begotting" too..

Jesus is not Father. Jesus is Son.

And because He was begotten "before time began", it means He is eternal.

No scripture says that Jesus was begotten of God in eternity past. This where reading a bible your native is imperative.
