Hi Noose., It takes time to learn about what the Bible says about Jesus and His salvation and not all here agree on certain aspects of what we have in this "so great a salvation" So personal attacks seem to be the way some deal with differences. I'm not phased.
We are all going to die physically if we are not raptured first when Jesus comes and gets us as it says in 2 Thess.4:13-18
Many disagree with this interpretation too so it goes to show we have to know what the Bible says for ourselves or be tossed back and forth with lots of different people's interpretations.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Now also we would not have you ignorant, brethren, about those who fall asleep [[SUP][
a][/SUP]in death], that you may not grieve [for them] as the rest do who have no hope [beyond the grave].
[SUP]14 [/SUP]For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him through Jesus those who have fallen asleep [[SUP][
b][/SUP]in death].
[SUP]15 [/SUP]For this we declare to you by the Lord’s [own] word, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall in no way precede [into His presence]
or have any advantage at all over those who have previously fallen asleep [in Him [SUP][
c][/SUP]in death].
[SUP]16 [/SUP]For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Then we, the living ones who remain [on the earth], shall simultaneously be caught up along with [the resurrected dead] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of the eternities) we shall be with the Lord!
[SUP]18 [/SUP]Therefore comfort
and encourage one another with these words.
It's also important to read the opening post or it's easy to be interpreting what the OP is saying by the rabbit trails of others who join in the thread who disagree.
Unless Jesus comes first, we who are here now will die physically eventually. My point in the thread is how we choose to live our Christian lives here on earth will determine how we succeed or fail. Do we walk by the flesh or by the spirit? There are many promises for us to access that Jesus Christ has died to give us specifically to use while we are here on earth as we walk in the spirit (our new born again spirit) .
We can walk in the strength and power of the Holy Spirit in our new born again man or we can walk religiously in our flesh and live a weak and beggarly life of religious works., having a form of Godliness but denying the power thereof.... I've done both and found that walking in the spirit is the only way that brings peace and joy in the Holy Spirit because walking in the spirit allows us to hold the ground Jesus died to give us while we are on this pilgrim journey here on earth.
Just read today about Hebrews 8:12 How we are in the new covenant.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]For I will be merciful
and gracious toward their sins and I will remember their deeds of unrighteousness no more.
Because of our new born again spirit., we are able to walk by faith and know INTUITIVELY .,with ease and without fear God and His will for our lives each day. In that is joy and peace in the HolySpirit. And a knowledge that all things are possible with Him who we have to do with. Amen!

Hebrews 8:10-12
[/SUP]For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will imprint My laws upon their minds, even upon their innermost thoughts
and understanding, and engrave them upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]And it will nevermore be necessary for each one to teach his neighbor and his fellow citizen or each one his brother, saying, Know (perceive, have knowledge of, and get acquainted by experience with) the Lord, for all will know Me, from the smallest to the greatest of them.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]For I will be merciful
and gracious toward their sins and I will remember their deeds of unrighteousness no more.
