Sorry, I didn't know this was the "change God's word to make it fit my belief system" thread.

I've been reading many oppose to what the Lord gave Paul to teach, and yet, not many give their view on 2 Timothy or 1 Corinthians 11.

well, that is what you are trying to do, right?

KJonlys always try to change what others believe including what Bible to read

but I digress...

You don't have to go to an extreme mindset. Men should honor women and treat them with love and respect. Husbands are commanded to love their wives as Christ loved the church.
Many gifted and blessed woman have taught in my church and helped many a person in their path to christian growth,

i guess we should shut them up?

Back to the subject, Christians have only TWO OPTIONS. Believe and apply all instructions to the churches as given by Divine revelation, or pick and choose what you wish to believe and suffer the consequences.
Fallacy: false dichotomy.

Rightly understanding Scripture in its textual, linguistic, cultural and historical contexts leads us to know which passages to take as direct instruction, which to take as history, which to take as wisdom, etc. Otherwise we end up with "Judas went and hanged himself", "Go and do thou likewise", and "What you are about to do, do quickly."

This issue has nothing to do with "picking and choosing" as you and others so unnecessarily assert. It has to do with some of us having a different interpretation of Scripture, and seeking to apply it as we understand it, just as you seek to apply it as you understand it.

Can you understand that?

And how it that help you to *interpret* something which needs no interpretation?
Says you. Since when are you the arbiter of what and what doesn't need interpretation?

Does that make it right? We may learn biblical truths from a homosexual pastor. Does that make it right?

And please don't claim that I'm comparing women to homosexuals. Don't go there.

I have a roll of duct tape. That's how they roll 'em in Saudi Arabia in the treatment of women.

Leaps and bounds more than the Riplinger indoctrination you embrace in believing the king jimmy interprets itself.

God blesses His word as it goes out. That doesn't mean He blesses the preacher of His word. Do you not think a lost man can be taught how to present the gospel to others and see people get saved from the lost man's preaching?

Yeah whatever, you have an excuse for everything dont you?

god does not bless sin. Period. End of story, if the women are teaching in sin, god has to punish, not bless

That is not what the Scripture says. That might be what you think it says, or what you want it to say though.

Adding to Scripture is a really bad idea.
It is "you" and "your" teachers that have added or subtracted from the Bible.

1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

1 Corinthians 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

Now open "your" Bible to verse Corinthians 14:34 -14:35 and tell me what it says. Your teachers have lied to you, as it is in your Bible as well. Look it up. It is not simply explicit to the ( KJV )

I am wondering what denom he has been indoctrinated in or if this is all self taught personal revelation?

either way....it is a mashup of scripture that does not work
You have been deceived by your teachers. Open your BIBLE to Corinthians 14:34 and actually read what it says.
