For those who believe a woman can preach/teach/pastor, continue attending your local fellowship who believes the same.

For those who don’t believe a woman can preach/teach/pastor, continue attending your local fellowship who believes the same.

There. Problem solved. Lol.

That is the very same as saying

"If you are going against God's commands just keep on doing it"

"And if you are following God's commands, keep doing that too"

Whatever it is that you like to do, just keep doing it and don't attempt to follow God any more closely. That is the principle behind what you have just said. No good principle at all.

How do you know that Paul wasn't referring to wives instead of women? Same Greek word is used for both. The context of that pericope appears to be marriage relationships, specifically 1 Timothy 2:15.
1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

1 Corinthians 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

In order to help out a fellow truth teller here, I will supply the verses for him. Pretty clear here it is referring to women not speaking in the church or becoming any pastor. A bit difficult to be a pastor without speaking, wouldn't you say ?

I've also said the Holy Spirit is the only One who can change hearts/minds. no matter how much we post here, He is the One who does the work. so let it go, and allow the Holy Spirit be the Holy Spirit.

amen.

God unseen defines that which is good, as to the unseen faith principle.

Pastors, Bishops and the office of deacons is a family affair' there are no single ministries that involve relationship teaching. If a man cannot prove to be able to handle his own family affairs as one of the conditions, then neither could him and his wife take the office and lead a church . All of the requirement must be made. No wife no office...... no children that obey, no office

Do we need a man or woman to teach us or is the ministry of the Holy Spirit as the things of God and not the things of men?

Even the Son of Man when called "good teacher"( Master) turned it over to the law of faith and said; Only God not seen is good.

We are to call no man "good teacher" on earth just as in the same way we are to call no man father on earth. One is our teacher, Christ and we are all brother and sisters .Not Masters. .One is our Father in heaven.

Do we need mankind to teach us?

I agree the Holy Spirit is the only one who can change minds. However, that does not negate the fact that Christians are to spread the truth of the Holy Spirit unto others. We are not to encourage people to continue breaking God's rules. We are to encourage others to follow them.

Yes, there are rules that are to be followed even for a man to preach within a church. That is not the topic here. The topic for a very long time has been is a woman allowed to preach within a church. And the very clear biblical answer to that question is "NO" and it is very clearly written in Corinthians 14:34-14:35 as well as other verses.

[SUP]34 [/SUP]The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. [SUP]35 [/SUP]If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is [SUP][a][/SUP]improper for a woman to speak in church.

400 years later, and "preach" still isn't in that passage. Hmmm... I guess the Bible really doesn't say that women cannot preach.

Explain how they can preach when they are not to speak.

Preaching is never mentioned, which means they cannot preach .only teaching, and that is teaching other women.

Sure! Right after you stop claiming that the Bible says that women can't preach. ;)
Fine, then I will change it to the Bible says "women are not to speak in church". Now tell me how it is possible for them to preach when they cannot speak.

What God calls one, the counterfeiter calls separate.. taking away the understanding of God.

We preach Christ(the preacher) not our ownselves. He preaches prophecy...which is declaring the will of God
.

Do weneed a man or woman to teach us. Or is the ministry of the Holy Spiritsufficient to teach, comfort, guide and bring all things to our memory of thatin which he has taught us?

Theteaching in in respect to relationship problems Both the husband and wifeshould have the honor each at Home. Men should consult with men and vise versa. If problem, comes up and they cannot come together they can use the offices ofa Deacon or Bishops where and man and woman working together are required as proof. No single ministries in that way.

There are those that expect that another should submit to them. But putting Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, King David, and all the apostles aside, has anyone ever considered whether the Lord God, King of the universe, came to us expecting anyone to submit to Him? Though Jesus noted to Simon that he did not even offer, He hadn't demanded that Mary wash his feet. He did, however, insist that Peter's feet be washed by Him.

I'd be interested in verses where Jesus demanded any sort of service, as I don't see where any common man can expect that which the greatest man living never demanded of anyone.

Fantastic! Truth has won a victory!

One may preach through many different means. As the saying goes, "Preach the gospel always. When necessary, use words."
