Great. Now there's yet another thing I don't have that I want.

Where can you get this Cherry Ripe bar?

Same place you can get just about everything else, Amazon. Of course since it's a foreign candy it's super expensive for candy.

Arguing over which chocolate is the best is like arguing over which flower smells the best -- passionflower, lilac, or moonflower. It does not compute. Why limit to one, when there is more than one? It's chocolate! What could possibly go wrong if it's chocolate?

My preference is chocolate versus not-chocolate!

If you have chocolate? Gimme, gimme, gimme! If you don't, I'll share mine. Just make sure you have your own chocolate, so I don't have to share all mine.

NO way, my sweet country flower.

If I married someone with a different chocolate preference... We'd never be able to agree on what flavor to have for the chocolate fountain. :p

And that's certainly no way to start off a marriage. :(
Pfft, his and her fountains. It's good to marry someone that disagrees on your chocolate preferences. That means he won't boggart your chocolate!

Lynx is the only dude I met who likes nasty dark chocolate.
I married another dark chocolate lover. Unfortunately, for him, I learned to be very accepting of all chocolate, especially his. (That way I can stash mine longer.)

I'm sensing a sequel to this thread:

Lynx Vs. Jennie Mae and The Great Dark Chocolate Stand-Off!

P.S. Dark chocolate has been so highly recommended in this forum that I tried buying some fancy schmancy bar that was something like... 90% cacao? Oh my goodness. It was the ONLY time in my life that I've ever had to FORCE myself to finish a chocolate bar. I did NOT like it at all--but it was twice as much as my regular beloved Hershey's Milk Chocolate bar--so I didn't want it to go to waste. :(
Do you have a brownie recipe or a sweetbread recipe? Dark chocolate does not get eaten by itself, the chips get added, like nuts, in a dessert. Particularly good when the chips are still warm and gooey.

90%? That would make even a dark chocolate nerd change her attitude:p. No Ma’am, no more than 60% and with orange for this here gal;).
I finally found a way to help people keep my mouth shut. Just keep talking 1001 ways of eating chocolate, and I can't talk. I can't, because I get embarrassed with that much drool escaping my mouth.

Dark chocolate all the way. Even in my truffles which is the best way to eat chocolate by the way (and that's truffle the chocolate mixed with cream so it's meltier, not truffle the super expensive mushroom). And I'm probably happiest at about a 70% dark, though I'll do the stuff that's just marked dark that's really only 45% or so cocoa, and I stock an 85% dark to combat cravings for sweeter desserts (doesn't always work, but some days I can tell myself ok you had a little bit of chocolate, you had your dessert already).

It's apparent that I've been taken by the dark side and we all know "once you start down the dark path forever will it dominate your destiny".
I bet chocolate mushrooms would be tasty though.

Yes.

It's reflecting the dark shadow that has now eclipsed my soul. :(

Is all hope lost?

And is this the end of the Milk Chocolate Brigade?!!!
You're the one who opened Pandora's Box. Didn't you see who was at the bottom?

I'm guessing that all these dark chocolate people are on diets. :(

After all, compared to other chocolate, dark chocolate is pretty much the equivalent of kale or spinach. :D
Wow! Got to thinking. Chocolate covered Kale! Might get me to like kale. (And, seriously. Add some cocoa powder to your spinach next time. You might end up liking spinach.)

If you're on a diet, just man up, and not eat chocolate. No point in torturing yourself with dark poop chocolate.
Not so much a diet, as diabetes, but I could never give up sweets, so found a way to get my chocolate and sweets without adding sugar. (Splenda, cocoa powder, and dark chocolate chips.)
