I had this old lady Coach handbag I got from the outlet mall in Calgary. It literally hurt my shoulder when it was full. (More later on full!)
Then, this winter, I dug out one of my daughter's old university back packs and used it to go to College, I had about 5 books, a binder full of paper and handouts, and all kinds of odds and ends, including pencils, erasers, gum, throat lozenges and anything else. It didn't hurt my shoulder at all.
So, I thought, I need a back pack purse. I did find one, but it was cheaply made. So, I passed it by.
Then in February, we went to Bellis Fair outlet mall near Bellingham Washington. I found a blue leather, much fancier Coach back pack purse, on sale for 70% off. How much the original price was, I don't know, but it was a good deal.
I love that purse! It does NOT hurt my shoulders. I can fit my wallet, which probably has more in it than most men carry in a month, any kind of drug container, including asthma inhalers (3), headphones, condiments, lip gloss, eye drops, flash cards in multiple languages, tea bags, food/snacks, dental floss, hair brush and other makeup, several packages of Kleenex, many pencils and pens, rulers, my phone, and my iPad if need be.
Like Miri's purse, it definitely once belonged to Mary Poppins, it expands to take whatever I want it to take. Definitely, the perfect purse for a pack rat like me!
