In my opinion, the Catholic church has done more to harm the Christian faith than any other institution in the world. While other faiths, like Islam, may outright oppose Christianity, and may even attack it violently, the Catholic church instead imitates it, and misguides people. They try to get you to seek forgiveness from a man, rather than Christ, they have tricked people into believing they can purchase salvation, they have hid the word of God from millions throughout the generations, they made a false God to worship (the pope), who imitates Christ, making him an anti Christ. This institution has practiced rampant pedophilia, it has been complicit it and has profits off of the guilt of others to this day.

I'm not saying all who identify as Catholic are going to hell, what I am saying is that true Christ followers should make a stand against this institution, and call it out like the false faith it is.

Please, curb your distain, the church is not the Vatican. The Vatican is a nation bent on world domination and conversion to their brand of religion partly for the collecting artifacts, tithes and property. Its even recognized by the U.N. with embassies worldwide. I don't even believe salvation is a primary agenda for the corporation.

The church are, (not is,) the people that identify with the brand. and many are sincere (although sincerely deceived) They (the Vatican) cut the Bible into pieces, re-arrange it and call it catechism then teach it to children who by the age of reason are either confused or brainwashed like most cults that specialize in in children. Furthermore the Vatican forbids marriage and normal sexual relations among its clergy (priests and nuns). Salvation through childhood baptism, confession and forgiveness (by priest alone) and communion is not only heresy but a recipe for sexual deviation and perversion.

On the other hand; if a catholic (or any one else) believes Jesus was born of the flesh, suffered and died for our sins, was buried and rose again, who is foolish enough to say they aren't saved?

P.S. I was raised catholic,, went to catholic school, became agnostic and later read the bible. That's how I got saved.

When i eventually read the Bible i renounced my catholic religion and became a Christian.. Catholicism is worse then islam because it's a religion which i closer to the truth but is as deceptive and false as islam.. I am glad i can post this and clearly declare that the catholic religion is not Christianity it is an enemy of the Gospel of my LORD Jesus Christ..

What catholic religion apologists like you do not realize is that all devout Catholics follow the dictates of the recognized authority of the Vatican.. The Vatican brand of catholicism is catholicism.. Anyone who does not recognize the authority of the Vatican over all things religious is not a catholic and should not be called one..

I don't call myself a catholic any more, I call myself a christian, sometimes I call myself an ex catholic depending on what or who I am talking to and about. I beleive in the authority of the bible over the Vatican or the Pope I only defend Catholics to haters because A] many catholics are saved, B] catholic means world wide and church means group of believers with whom I have no issue with!

It's the dogma, ritualism and superstition that comes from the Vatican that I stand against. The people are mostly good, 1/2 my family identify as catholic and I went through all of the sacraments but I turned my back on catholicisim when I read the word, from the beginning to Amen and feel I made an intelligent choice, about the time I turned 21, kinda like Martin Luther did. I do not accept his authority either. If I had to choose someone or something other the father, son and holy spirit it would be the word of God...that's all and I mean all. Thanks for sharing however...calibob P.S. Cali is for California

I was thinking more along historic than current , sorry. Real estate, like Mexico South America, Africa...They cosigned with Spain, France, & etc. who looted all of the civilizations, kidnapped the indigenous peoples and if they didn't convert, put them to the sword or bound to slavery. They accepted the booty. It's like if you help a thief or accept stolen property from one including treasure, real estate or what have you, you are responsible for the crime too. Before or after the fact it dosn't matter we would go to prison for such deeds. If I invaded the nation of Osprey and gave some land to Joe and he built a church on it or a McDonalds isn't Joe as guilty as me? Converting the world by force to catholocisim, (I erred by using present tense) was world domination. Continuing to keep stolen property is a crime also. I think the U.S. will be judged as a nation when Jesus returns. Considering what was done to the natives that were here before us. And the Lord has a very long memory.

If they are saved then they are Not Catholic.
If they are catholic then they are not saved.

The catholic church is a religion centered on and controlled by the dictates of the Vatican papal authority..
The best way to give warning to a person within the catholic religion is to be clear that catholicism is not Christian.. You do not leave them sitting in some kind of twilight zone telling them that you can be saved and a catholic.. That's toxic.. You may as well go and tell a muslim that the way of muhammad is a way to eternity with God...

If you left the catholic religion because you read the Bible and you where convicted by the Holy Spirit to get out of her.. How on earth can you then tell catholics still caught up in the deception of the cathoilic religion that it's all ok and they should reamin catholic because catholics are saved too ??????

I know i could never ever do such a thing..

Have you never of charisatic catholics? There are different sects of catholics just as their in protestantism. charismatics who practice baptism of the holy spirit inc. speaking in tounges, jesuit, dominican, franciscanetc. I would never say that about baptists even though most don't speak in tounges, or quakers, even though the niether baptise or take communion and on and on. I recall reading as ye believe so shall be judged. If they belive that christ died for their sins and was reserected three days later well, call no man a fool lest ye risk hells fire. I wouldn't do if were you! Yes, I beieve they are decieved and I believe the Vatican will be judged for it but it is not up to us to decide. praying to Marry, the saints, icons artifacts...nonsense! but if they beleive in their hearts and confess with their mouths, they may be saved. Don't dispute with me, go look it up yourself. (actually is dosn't say may be, it says are I was givind the benefit of doubt) That's how. P.S. I never told any body it was ok, at all, I just forgive them for they dom't know what they do.

Even in my country, the Catholic Church is not believed anymore by many because of politics. our local bishops mostly are critical to the present president while most Catholics support our president.

This is my first social media site and I'm not sure what a blog is. Many people think they are anti catholic but are really anti Vatican, to me that's like saying you're anti-american when actually your'e anti republican, or democrat. I see your gun, and I think you understand. I'm not anti gun but do I think my bi-polar ex wife should have one? NO! And so it goes. that's all for now, thanks for your input, calibob.

I'm a former Roman Catholic who came to receive Christ through faith after reading the Bible for myself and not by merely listening to what the RCC teaches about the plan of salvation. I was saved IN SPITE of what the RCC taught about the plan of salvation and NOT BECAUSE of what they taught. The Roman Catholic institution is deceptive and dangerous! :cautious:

Interesting video on the origin of the RCC. Christianity and pagan religion does not mix!

Yes, we are in the same club. I am saddened because people don't realize that the Vatican and the church are two different things. I know from what you speak I have learned alot about the Vatican, the papisy and the history of them. i.e. pope Innocent, the Borgias the acceptance of pagan rituals, the politics corruption... and it gets me rialed up when people lump the innocent along with criminals. I tried to ignore what I responded too, I'd rather talk about something else couldn't resist after a long and involentary thought proceses, well I had to say something. I know you know how brainwashed catholics become by the time they reach puberty, it's not like we made a decision to become catholics or aything like that the decision was made for us. Most cult members remember life before joining the cult. not us. your brother in Christ, calibob

I'm curious, do they still go to Catholic churches, and if so do those churches not answer to the Vatican? Or do they go to Protestant or other churches and still call themselves catholic? because I have never met any of them, though I admit I have never hung out with Catholics to begin with.

ANY religion that does the following is not of GOD....end of story...

a. Full of idolatry--->the worship of the POPE, MARY, Bone Fragments, Pieces of hair, teeth, statues, etc.
b. Promotes and pushes a "church or sacramental salvation"
c. Elevates a man to the position of God
d. SAID MAN states his word is above GOD or equivalent to God.
e. Said man has the ability to MAKE SAINTS
f. Said religion stands against the right of a Pastor (Bishop/Priest) to marry
g. Elevates Mary to the position of co-redeemer
h. Erroneously believes the wafer and wine actually turn into the flesh and blood of Christ
i. Said religion MURDERED some 60 to 80 million AnaBaptista, Paulicians, Lollards, Waldensians, Albegensians, etc. because of a refusal to confess in the ears of a priest and or take communion with the Catholic Church
j. Said religion blended pagan rituals and Christian principles to get Pagans in the church (see b above as to the reason)
k. Said religion HOARDS riches and is probably one of the richest entities on the earth
l. ETC.........

NOTE>...I SAID RELIGION.....

No catholics are not saved because catholics believe all the traditions laid down by the authority of the Vatican.. You simply refuse to acknowledge the truth that catholics are catholics and that Christians are Christians and the two are not brothers and sisters in Christ.. As long as you say that catholics are saved the more you are standing in the way of them getting out of that harlot church and actually being saved..

People like you in an attempt to be nice towards catholics are actually blocking them from true eternal salvation.. You don't defend catholics from haters, by your own actions you show far more hatred to catholics then anyone else.. If they listen to you and remain as they are they will be cast into the eternal lake of fire on the day of judgement..

Sir, have you read the Catholic Apologetics online before you conclude that Catholic teachings are against the Biblical teachings?

If not, please research them on the net.

I would say that the United States government has caused the most spiritual harm to the Christian faith. There are problems with doctrine and practices any denomination besides Catholicism. A lot of denominations encourage confessing your sins to the pastor beside Catholic. I was born and raised a Catholic and not one time was I led to believe that I can purchase salvation. No Catholic that I know worships the pope either. For the record I no longer attend mass and haven't for some years but I will not condemn those that do. So I am surmising that you assume that the pastors of other denominations are as pure as the driven snow. I hardly think so.

Thank you I appreciate that. Another matter I see needs explaining something that they don't teach in catachism. About 500 years ago when the printing press was invented and since money was real coins in gold, silver, etc. The Vatican forces schemed up an idea, simple as printing money. The plan was to print coupons for the forgiveness of sins and exchange them for coins. That was one of the things that got Martin Luther (a german monk) so upset he protested and that is how the words protest-ism became protestant. They, the Vatican, don't do that any more, never talk about it but they sure did when Colombus was A sailor. cee ya, calibob
