As we all know there is mandatory celibacy for those in the clergy for the Catholic Church. I feel this is hurting the Catholic Church. Obviously we have heard about all of the crimes that have been committed by priests and I think nuns too.

I think it is a lot to ask of someone to be forced to be celibate for lifetime (of course they don't have to enter the Catholic Church but in a sense still forced, if not there really would be a shortage of clergy) and not able to get married. This may cause issues for the person, and is certainly a lot to ask.

The Catholic Church has wanted to emulate the celibacy of Jesus Christ; however, that was Jesus and others such as some of the other prophets (like Elijah and Jeremiah) have been celibate. There is no problem if a priest chooses to be celibate and plans to solely serve God for a lifetime and not get married, but to make it mandatory is hypocritical. Also, in the Bible it explains rules for priests and how they should marry so obviously it is accepted by the law and the prophets and Christ.
For example:
1 Timothy 3:2-12 King James Version (KJV)
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

We know the Catholic Church lacks people in the clergy and removing mandatory celibacy would help encourage more people, thus strengthening the Catholic Church.

The greatest thing the Catholic Church could do is just totally die.
They are Satin's greatest ally in the the battle for men's souls.

Even the Orthodox Church which is our rival on the issue of who is the continuation of the 1st Century Christian Church also allows their priests to marry.

but in the Catholic Apologetic it is not doctrine but discipline.

and I agree that my Church wanted to emulate Jesus' celibacy because our clergy is the alter christus. just google it what it means.

but on my personal opinion I wanted my priests to marry if this is the only way for my Church to persuade a lot of our young men to join priesthood.

it could be hypocritical if you are unmarried but secretly molesting or having an affairs with a woman.

and then a bishop will just transfer you and cover up the crime and the victim will only be paid some cash just to be silent.

Perhaps all denominations should be abolished besides the Catholic church. I was born and raised a Catholic but no longer attend mass and haven't for many years but what you have claimed is total nonsense. Satan does not have an ally nor needs one, as we are, apart from God, our own worse enemy.

I'm rather fond of satin. Its a good feeling cloth. But I never equated satin material to Catholicism. Hmm...

Only Jesus can abolish all ungodly religions when he comes back to reign for 1000 years on earth.

Me too I no longer attend mass because our country's priests mostly engaged in politicizing in their partisan politics which I never subscribe.

but if a man is intelligent he will only join a church that is the continuation of 1st century christian church and either roman catholic/coptic and orthodox churches fit the criteria and an intelligent man just choose which of them.

Evangelical Christians do not want to see the Catholic Church "strengthened". Neither should you. Please read Fifty Years in the Church of Rome by Charles Chiniquy.
