I don't get why you don't understand. Are do you just not want to be wrong. He was born through her womb, but it was a virgin birth. Gods seed., not Adams. If it would have been Adam's seed, Jesus would have been just like us.
Go back to the verse in my OP. Jesus was just like us.

And?

Now we're going in circles.

G'nite.
We are going in circles because your reasoning is going in circles which can't answer why Jesus could die if He didn't have the fallen adamic sinful nature.

You can't support your claim. If Jesus didn't have the Adamic curse in His humanity then how could He physically die?
What are you trying to prove, that he was human? your right he was human, but still God, without spot or wrinkle. John 1:14 The word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. That's why he could die for us. He was without sin. 1 Peter 2:22 Who committed no si, nor was any deceit found in his mouth

You can have the sinful nature and still not sin. That was my point about young children who die. They are not damned.

Ok I will agree. Jesus had everything that we as people have except we came from Adam who started out living by his spirit, communicating with God spirit to spirit, But when he sinned he no longer lived by his spirit, he then started living by his soul. So he had to communicate with God in a different way, because his spirit could no longer communicate with God the same way that he could before. Jesus was living by his spirit like Adam did before he sinned. He continued living by his spirit the whole time he was on earth. Ill have to continue this tomorrow, got to go to work tomorrow.

If He didn't then how could this be true?:
Very simple. All temptations are external. But the response to temptation is internal. Because Christ was perfectly sinless Man (no sin nature within) as well as fully God, He could not and would not respond to temptations.

So He was tempted as we are but He did not respond to temptations are humans do. Therefore that Scripture says that He suffered while He was tempted and tested (interchangeable) but it does not say that he succumbed to temptations.

I explained this already.

Except for the fact that in His kenosis He gave up that privilege, lived as we do in original sin, so that He could physically die:

Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges ; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.

You don't think Jesus had an uphill battle? He was tempted to sin just as we are. He was tempted by the devil himself. How many of us can say that?
i think He was but according to what some have said in this thread He couldnt have been.

I do not believe there is a valid reason for saying that. Adam did not have a sin nature before he disobeyed God. He was tempted, and sinned.
so why would a sin nature need to be applied to those after Adam?

Then He didn't suffer as we do. He would have been just as a Martian alien not a fully human.

original sin says we are pre programmed to sin. but Jesus was not. this would mean IMO He was different than us.
But I say Jesus was pre programmed to sin but He didn't is my point. Therefore He fully understands what we are going through.

i agree with you. i dont agree with the doctrine.
if i had a special ability that made me less likely to sin, and i went around preaching to people not to sin, wouldnt that make me sound a bit like a hypocrite?
Jesus did not care for hypocrites and i do not believe He ever lied.
