Israel (fig tree) 1948 + 80 years = 2028, which would mean the rapture is 2021, and Jesus returns 2028.

F. Kenton Beshore believes this timeline too.

I know scripture says we will not know the day nor hour, but can we know the year?

I'm going to make this a dual topic post. The author of 2028 end also has a site https://10lovecommandments.com/ where he has a Salvation Equation, which is

A (our duty) + B (God's duty) = C (salvation)
A = keep the 10 commandments
B = Jesus death on the cross

However, I'm confused because I'm pretty sure no one can keep the 10 commandments, requiring Jesus death on the cross?
Here is my current view of salvation: http://christessays.com/signs-of-salvation/

Thanks! :)

I think I would revise the Salvation Equation to be

A = Faith, which is a posture of obedience and repentance towards sin

Actually that 80 years is supposed to be 70 years and as for knowing the year we can guess and assume maybe even hope but no one can actually know

I understand about 1948 but how did you come up with the 80 years?

Another way of saying it is that OUR DUTY is Faith leading to repentance, which would include making Jesus Lord of your life, living each day for him, following the relevant commandments and not actively disobeying relevant commandments.

Jesus died to make a payment for our sin, but we are supposed to walk in the light and overcome a lifestyle of sin, and live a life that's pleasing to God.

The world isn't going to end.

First clue: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only .

Second clue: But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Third clue: For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Final clue: For God so loved the world he gave his word that whosever believeth in him not perish but have everlasting life.

I agree with Zmouth that no man knows the day and hour. However, it was made clear that there will be an end, at least to this world in its present form in Revelation and a number of other places in scripture. Makes sense since anything with a finite beginning has a finite end, and if you believe the bible, verse one of Genesis confirms the finite beginning and who done it, as they say. That's who will end it and it appears that fire will be the chosen tool.
