Thats sad. But I did and millions of people around the world too.

Can you explain the lunar eclipse from your flat earth perspective?
Genesis 1: 14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Again, can you explain the lunar eclipse from your flat earth perspective?

I Just did. If I don't believe anything nasa or some scientist, why would you not think that I would not get my answer from the bible.

How does the lunar eclipse work? Tell me in your words.
I don't have any words for it. That doesn't fascinate me. All of creation was magnificentely crafted by God. I'm not surprised in what he can do.

So, you basically have no answer to anything, right? You just read Genesis 1 literally and thats all.

Very Christian. God Bless you.
Wait while I find a "christianese" way to tell you that your views are narrow and closed-minded. You have allowed one interpretation of one translation of Scripture to lock you into a worldview that is not actually supported by Scripture.

I strongly recommend the work of Dr. Michael Heiser to you. His material is available on YouTube.

This is a classic response. You have nothing in your worldview to explain real-world observations and the necessary physics behind them, so you disregard them. That's a great way to make Christians as a whole look foolish and ignorant.

There's already a flat-earth thread. This doesn't need to turn into one. There isn't enough merit in the flat-earth view to warrant further discussion in the BDF.

Thanks but no thanks I rather stick with my own understanding, but thanks for trying to enlighten me. God loves you and so do I. God Bless.

Ok I'm sorry but right now the moon doesn't concern me. It may later, but not now. Thanks

So how is your Hebrew coming along? Oh, right, you can't learn Hebrew, because that would require learning from another human.

This lone-ranger plan of yours has one destination: a deep ditch. Love tells the truth. Truth sometimes doesn't feel loving though.

I don't have any desire to learn Hebrew. The bible is enough for me.

That would not be a problem, if you didn't get on here, post your opinions, and vigorously defend them with no intention of learning anything. That is both foolhardy and inconsistent with the plain teaching of Scripture. Everyone except for Paul was taught by other humans. One thing is certain: you ain't Paul.

Oh but I did learn something. That thread that DevotiontoBible started about Jesus having the human sin nature. I was so sure they were wrong, but God convicted me and I had to repent for my ignorance. DevotiontoBible was totally totally right.

Uh huh. 'Nuff said. Oh well, at least you're polite, and it's entertaining debating with you. :)

Of course. Read this carefully and you will see that the sun, moon, and stars are inside under the firmament. .
Read it till the cows come home, the book is sealed. Do you really believe that anyone can just pick up the Bible and read it?

So if I handed you the Bible, say when you were 4 years old and asked you to read Genesis 1, what would you have said?

And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. Isa 29:12

Hopefully you will say you didn't know how to read it because they say it is like 1 in a hundred and fifty thousand billion that one is born having the ability to read and write without needing any man teach them, so what are the odds of there being two at the same time.

And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: Isa 29:11

In case you don't believe that a person can read and write the written spoken word (letters) without being taught by man, then consider the following:

And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? John 7:15

And what is the translation for this?
