Thank you.… I was just looking at the thermostat and it's 82 which is cool for inside the house when will be in the 90's outside of the house. One really good thing is we are a middle townhome and so we are insulated really well with only the front and back and roof open to the elements. So thanks to neighbors for having cool units on either side of us. Thank God for helping will report later if we warm up as to what the high ends up being inside the house later.

Well I found it by accident looking for good morning from cali something and it didn't look right and hes a former truck driver from cali. But after 46 years of driving in cali I started realizing what was wrong with it. I wouldn't put past Humbolt County to do something like this. But they'd do it using stock caltrans green with cheap calvinized 3 sited stantions which they have in piles of then I noticed how narrow the road is. Welcome to California on 2 lane blacktop bzzz! Fake!

We have no money for repairs at least not expensive repairs and it is the hottest part of summer.

I'm in a quandary as to whether to call the ac people tomorrow for help as it will be weekend more expensive charges if they come out to check it or suffer through the weekend and wait till Monday to call for help in at least figuring out how much the repair will be if we can afford to get it fixed or not.....

Prayers that I will trust God to get us through this trial... Thanks.

Yep, just a minor speed bump in our married life though. If we can get through the fire outside that destroyed our meter box a few years ago we can get through this. Yeah, woke up Sat morn and definitely on the warm side. The fan was blowing on the inside but outside the A/C unit was making this strange humming sound and the fan wasn't running, plus the outside of the box was getting hot. Thank God I was able to disable it at the thermostat monitor. One way or another we will get the thing fixed or replaced. Fortunately, the cold fronts will be moving soon in about 6 weeks but it would be nice to have A/C before then but we'll see. Another good thing as far as the temp is concerned is that you are making chilly for dinner to cool us off. Chili today, hot tomale.

It's kind of hard to hide a broken AC in the middle of Florida summer. I didn't notice until about 3 or 4 PM yesterday when it was a tad warm. Not really 'Poor Toursist" because I am married to my heart's desire. It's all good. So is God.

I was thinking the same thing. Hope that is the case as that would be a relatively inexpensive repair verses the cost of replacing the entire unit. Of course, if is the compressor then it's toast, pun intended. :)

I haven't read a post of hers in over a month. She started the Conversation About Nothing In Particular thread in February, wrote several thousand posts and one day just sort of vanished. She is a very nice person with a great sense of humor. From Australia. Hope she comes back.

Maybe none of the conversations have peaked her interest. She still logs in regularly.
