I am sure demons will be working now, for these words seem to alert them to start working. The main idea behind Hebrew Roots is to believe in the Lord and His word. It is called roots because knowing and believing in the Lord is to know all God tells us about Himself in all scripture from beginning to end.

The first way that demons attack people who believe in the Lord is by using the law. They will say that there has been times in history that bible students have said they believe that God offered salvation for obedience. This was never so, but God has over and over asked for obedience. By pointing a finger at people accusing them of believing this false way to salvation they can convince some people to join them in their opposition to the truth of the Lord.

Our Lord was the first born of every creature,Colossians 1:15 that is,,, the very first thing God did was to provide that same savior and then "after",,, him those who would be saved by him...

Hebrew Roots is a denomination.
More accurately a Movement which encourages Christians to go back to the Old Covenant practices and become "Torah observant". However, it is in violation of New Testament teachings. And since Gentile Christians are NOT to follow the Law of Moses (except in four commandments as noted in Acts 15), and since the majority of Christians today are Gentiles, it is clear that it is designed to isolate Jews from Gentiles (which is contrary to the New Testament).

This is inaccurate. Hebrew "roots" means going back to Mosaic practices. e.g. kosher foods.

If you wanted me to pass on the doctrine of the Hebrew Roots movement, you could have asked.

What concerns me about the names of any denomination is the tendency to stress eacho's doctrine over the others in place of learning directly from Jesus, Yeshua.

Our spiritual roots are indeed Hebrew, but it is not a doctrine, it is fact. Think about it. We do not refer to believing Jesus as "Gentile Roots" complete with new doctrines of man.........we are descended, spiritually from Abraham.

Abraham is the metaphorical *father* of all believers only because "Abraham believed God and it was imputed to him for righteousness*. And all distinctions are ABOLISHED in Christ.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, (Gentile) there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Gal 3:26-29).

Once the Church was established and the Mystery of the Church was revealed by Paul, "there is neither Jew nor Gentile" in the Body of Christ. Trying to revive Jewishness among Christians violates the New Testament.

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (1 Cor 12:12,13)

Reverting to the Law of Moses is BONDAGE
For this Agar (Hagar) is mount Sinai (the Law of Moses) in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. (Gal 4:25,26)

This is really an inappropriate way to start a discussion, calling your possible oponents to be influenced by demons in your first sentence.

The main idea behind Hebrew Roots is to believe in the Lord and His word.
The main idea behind Hebrew Roots is mixing the old and the new covenant, mixing shadows and reality, mixing flesh with Spirit.

Abraham is not a metapfore, it translates to Honored Fathe of Nations or of Peoples. It is a lesson in itself. It may also refer to our Hevenly Father.

Abraham Isaac and Jacob are our forefathers in the faith. The original Flock of the Good Shepherd has been joined byi Him with the other Flock.- That is the Hebrews and the Gentiles are now one Flock in Christ.

If you wish to contend withe every word properly used by other believers in the proper understanding given each, I am afraid yo are going to have a very tough row to hoe for all understand according to how Jesus knows they need to, and you and I must understand this also.

Hebrew roots is not a denomination, it is a movement, People on here are considered hebrew roots. Yet they come from different denominations. Hebrew roots is an attempt to do as the jews tried to do to the new church in the NT, by making them return to the traditions and religion of the law. It is an attempt to bring people back under the yoke of bondage, by showing it is by the law we make God happy. Refusing to understand the law was a tutor. It was not made to show us how to be righteous, it was given to show us how unrighteous we really are. The ceremonies also. Which pointed to christ, and what christ would fulfill. Are meaningless. Since Christ already came and fulfilled

In essence, they are really no different than any other legalistic religious based movement, it is based on human works, and trying to appease or please God. And not focused on Gods work, and what he has done, and is doing in us.

news flash: demons are always hard at work and will not necessarily have a 'special' interest in your op

frankly, I find your post to be confusing. I'm really not sure what you are getting at

I will say, however, that you do not have an understanding of the Hebrew Roots movement and you should be aware there are a good many flavors of that particular movement and some are very extreme

Hebrew roots is another way of saying we look to the flesh (walk by sight) as a outward sign before we will believe God, not seen .

Its what the unbelieving (no faith) Jew stumbled over. The veil is rent signaling Christ has come in the flesh for a one time demonstration of His Spirit, not seen .

1 Corinthians 1 King James Version (KJV)
For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

John 4:48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

What kind of good could come out of them that are typified as anti-christs (many) other than a way of knowing they need the gospel?

They stand in the same place as a unregenerated gentile( no difference)

FUnny thing is many try to put a label on people... Thing is "Hebrew Roots" has no official: church, worldly head, professions of faith, set of beliefs, etc. I am not "Hebreew Roots" nor am I any denomanation or gruop, however if you really look at all the information about Hebrew Roots it is different in every place, each wiki page has a different explanation of what Henrew Roots believes... WHy? Because they are not like the RCC, Mormons, Luthernas etc where the ave a set profession of faith... Just an interesting thing I was thinking while looking at WIKIs on Hebrew Roots...

As I knew would happen, the posts are mostly about that we should not believe scripture and how people who believe it are terrible. Anti God people say if you study and understand the rituals told of in the OT, then it means that you must follow them!! What malarkey. Hebrew Roots believe in scripture and we are instructed about rituals m in scripture. Hebrew Roots believe in the law as a good thing as we are told in psalms 119. So here comes the anti God crowd telling that they believe in salvation by law following. They believe in what scripture tells them about the Hebrew, so the anti God crowd accuses them of not knowing God as a God of the gentiles and Jews.

I have news for these anti scripture people, God will win and scripture tells us about it.

This post is about as confused and confusing as anything ever posted.

So do you believe that Hebrew Roots nonsense is for the Church or do you not?

And who exactly are you calling "anti-God"? Those who reject Hebrew Roots or those who promote this?
