Even if the Evangelicals are not the majority supporters, the point is that there are many who claim belief in Christ (who is Truth), but whose actions in supporting lies indicate they do not believe in Christ/Truth.
This is so simple to see; I do not understand how this evades so many here.
You make claims without giving supporting evidence. Detail several lies for starters. It is easy to label someone a liar. It is then your responsibility to give the evidence. Proof please!!

Going back to the early elders they created the creeds as what a Christian must believe. At the time there were many disagreements about relatively lesser issues. That has continued to today as seen by the many gospel preaching denominations. You ignore this fact and push your beliefs about people in power are evil ignoring God says he put them there and you are to respect them. You are rejecting the word of God in this matter. Are you praying for our leaders or just ranting in violation of God's word about supporting and praying for them?

Since you are taking this off topic while raising accusations against me, I will provide a little detail on my political perspectives.
Though I was more supportive of Trump becoming President than over the same old status quo that Hillary was promising to deliver, I still do not believe in either party, as I know they are mostly self serving.
I await the new kingdom of Christ which will come following several events described in the bible.
Currently all the worlds kingdoms are Satan's, all of which under the Lord's thumb, as to how far they can go.
When things start to fall apart throughout the worlds kingdoms, Satan will have one last go at it by providing the beast with his power, seat and authority (Revelation 13:2).
They who do not know Jesus/the truth, will be among the vast majority of people of the earth who will be in love with the beast and dragons new economic world order (Revelation 13:4).
It is at the conclusion of the beasts reign when the Lord will commence to reign (Revelation 12:10 & 11:15).

Revelation 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Methinks you are in need of searching your soul about how you rant about our leaders who God placed there. You need to go with what the scripture says how we are to treat our leaders.

If Jesus is truth as John 14:6 clearly indicates, then advocating for lies means you hate truth/Jesus.
it can mean also a person lacks understanding, can't it? or knowledge.

I think the reason why this topic is upsetting to some is that they are aware of the dilemma it poses with their supposed faith in Jesus (truth).

i think you're raising a very important question with this thread and i appreciate that you are trying to keep it about the principle and not about the person or the human political parties.

It can mean a person lacks understanding/knowledge, but it would have to be a great deal of lack of understanding, as this stuff appears every day on the news. And with a 40% approval rating indicating well over 100 million followers, I more tend to believe the majority of these individuals willingly denying the truth.

do we really have to do your research for you?

So rich! You have completely ignored the fact that YOU are contravening the clear teaching of Scripture:

Acts 23:5b "for it is written: ‘Do not speak evil about the ruler of your people.’”

Exodus 22:28 "Do not blaspheme God or curse the ruler of your people."

Save yourself the ad hominem response; I'm not American.

It's ridiculous.

If we take his "I'm not going to participate in any part of satan's kingdom" self righteousness to it's logical conclusion, then he needs to completely and utterly rid himself of everything, including his computer, and especially his money, and every other asset he has. Because it's ALL part of satan's kingdom.

We are to be good stewards of the blessings the Lord has given us, not to shut ourselves into enclaves and sit with our arms crossed, like Charlie Brown waiting for the Great Pumpkin, until the Lord returns. He expects return on His investment he has given each of us.

NO ONE I KNOW is raising Trump or the government as any kind of savior. Until JESUS HIMSELF sits on the Throne on Earth EVERY election is always a choice between the lesser of 2 evils.

The topic is an accusation against evangelicals who are fellow Christians. You made accusations that they are supporting a known liar. That is the issue I am discussing. Since you bring in your background so will I.

I'm 73 and was raised a Christian. I am Reformed aka Calvinist in my beliefs. I have been an elder and deacon in 3 reformed denomination churches. Moved twice. As such attended classes in them for doctrine training by the pastors of the church. In each church was on committees first as just a member and later as part of being an officer. I worked in evangelism events each church had. Gained a lot of knowledge about what works and doesn't work in evangelism. Forget cold calling. A lot of effort with hardly any result. Person to person contact as a friend works.

Seeing the godless progressives take control of the Democrat Party made me leave it and become a Republican. They still advocate for God. I see that all of the 7 sisters (top 7 protestant denominations) have become secular. Only the sub denominations are still preaching the gospel message. Gary North wrote a book "Crossed Fingers" about the secular takeover of Presbyterian USA in 1932. The secular ministers wanted access to the church funds. I have seen those ministers driving top end cars; Lincoln, Cadillac, Mercedes, etc.

In this journey I have learned much about the good and evil in this country. It is a secular country now with only a splitter of people attending a gospel preaching church. There was an eclipse crossing this country and in 2024 another one will cross it diagonally going through 7 cities named Salem. To me God's judgement on the US is being forecast.

Now bring forth the evidence about your assertions that Trump is a liar. Give the lies he has told.

Though the ruler of this people is a part of this thread, the main point of this thread is whether people who supposedly believe in Christ and love Him, which is the same as loving truth; by their actions in advocating for lies, in fact hate Christ/Truth?

I tried to keep this politicians name out of it, in order to keep on the primary topic so that people can recognize the truth and not delude themselves into believing otherwise.

Oh so basically this is about many conservative christians being fans of Trump? And this annoys you because you are a liberal?
It is now quite evident that the real haters -- the evil haters -- are the Left-Liberals, the Democrats, the Anarchists, the Socialists, and the Communists. Their only agenda is to destroy everything that is good, right, honest, moral, spiritual, and Christian. And the Father of Hatred is the Devil.

Who is advocating for lies? Are you a sinless perfectionist by any chance?

Everyone who claims to have faith/belief in Christ believes themselves to be holy to some degree.
holy does not mean righteous . it means dedicated or separate..set apart. God is holy does not mean He is righteous, even though He is

you have made both accusations and assumptions regarding other people with zero to prove what you say

since the actual reason for this post seems to be that you are a 'never Trumper', as someone has pointed out, it would appear there is no Bible discussion even though you posted IN the BDF

your title was 'click bait' and that is not a legitimate op

You are correct that I, like everyone else here participates in Satan's kingdom with my computer, money, car, and everything else.
I think the verses in the bible for this our current predicament are in Romans 8:20-23 where we are subject to vanity.

What has this to do with the topic, and whether certain supposed Christians who advocate for lies, in reality hate Jesus who is truth?

Romans 8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in paintogether until now.

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

God's Word says all men are liars. So?
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
