I am so very sorry to hear about your loss.
I hope that maybe there are resources at your church and local community that are supporting you through this difficult time? I know that the church I currently attend has a care group for those who have lost their spouses. I hope you can find something similar.

You may also consider starting a thread like this in the Family Forum as well, in order to try to connect with more people who can relate. I have met some people who lost their spouses but did not consider themselves single, so there might be other people who can help you that may never come into the Singles Forum.

I do have strong church and family support, but it is difficult to really share how I feel with people I know. Things are still pretty raw and grieving makes people feel uncomfortable no matter how much they care about you. So I was hoping to find someone who could relate to losing a spouse and could identify with all the dumb little things that cause so much pain. Thanks for your suggestions I'll give them a try. Welcome, Bondservant. You're certainly welcome to hang out here in Singles, but you might also want to put a brief post in the Family forum; there may be folks who can relate who don't check in here often.
So sorry to hear of the loss of your wife. I don't understand loosing a spouse but I lost my mother when I was 8 years old and it was very hard to loose that close bond. Prayers that God will bring you comfort and know that He is by your side as you go through this period in your life. Keep posting in threads as there are lots of good people willing to listen when you need someone to talk to.
