It seems to me that it is like Paul expressed in Phil. 4, any maturity I have gained is based on learning to be content with where the Lord has placed me. I notice that just before Paul told of his contentment he spoke of disciplining his thinking.
Phil. 4: 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
Phil. 4: 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

A man becomes a "grown up" when he wakes up and starts to take responsibility for his life..

people who doesn't know me at all say that I am childish...yeah... I know i have still some growing up to do ...I act by impulse sometimes ,who doesn't..? maybe there are those who are perfectly living a grown up life but girl maybe they feel so mesirable inside...I don't know it is my opinion only...
Many more people who doesn't know me personally will think i am immature....yeah I ambut hey it is ok to be silly a lil childish you know...

I'm 63 and getting close.
I think that people get the fact that we are getting "older" as mature adults, with getting "old". like. I feel like I am a responsible adult however, I don't feel nearly as old as I am... lol...

when a believer understands that we do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will, along with trying to carry the fruits of the spirit and accept what Proverbs 8 has to offer. 
I don't get it.. Is this the reason men in their twenties Don't have the ability to take responsibility for themselves and grow up...
