2 Timothy 3:16 says that all scripture is breathed out from God for teaching, reproof, correction and training in righteousness. So how does climate change figure in the scheme of things in the context of the Scriptures?

The Scriptures are two-fold on this. On the one hand, it can be inferred that God is punishing man for failing to abide by His Law, but on the other hand, Jesus tells us not to worry, since our time on earth is temporary compared to the eternity we can spend in Heaven if God has judged us to be righteous. So, after the earth can no longer sustain life, those that have been earmarked to be punished would be punished further by going to Hell instead of Heaven, and the rest will go to Heaven.

Here are the passages which may lead one to accept the above summary:

Genesis 2:15 says, “The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.” So, He did not put Adam into the Garden of Eden to destroy it. Things like carbon emissions which further promote the greenhouse effect work to destroy life through temperature changes. So how do you think God would react if the paradise He created was destroyed because of certain of man’s pursuits?

Leviticus 26:19-20, in the context of what God would do if we don’t abide by His Law, says “And I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your heavens like iron and your earth like bronze. And your strength shall be spent in vain, for your land shall not yield its increase, and the trees of the land shall not yield their fruit.” So in a sense, it can be inferred that climate change is God’s doing in response to man’s not fearing Him. Taking into account Genesis 2:15, it would seem that God would change the earth further than man had gone, if man were to disregard His Law, including maintaining the earth as God gave it to us to sustain life.

Isaiah 24:5-6 says, “The earth lies defiled under its inhabitants; for they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse devours the earth, and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are scorched, and few men are left.”

Jesus comes along, simplifying God’s Law and the Prophets saying they are summed up in two commandments: that we love God with all our heart, soul and mind, and we love eachother as we love ourselves. Conceivably, if we abide by these two commandments we can avoid the fate presented to us in Isaiah 24:5-6, at least for the time being.

Jesus foretells the destruction of the earth, implying that even if we abide by the commandments, things like climate change will still be a matter of due course which leads to things to come. He says in Luke 21:25-28, “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity BECAUSE OF THE ROARING OF THE SEA AND THE WAVES, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” This is partially derived from Isaiah 34:4 which says, “All the host of heaven shall rot away, and the skies roll up like a scroll.

All their host shall fall, as leaves fall from the vine, like leaves falling from the fig tree,” implying that the change in the earth will be the result of a cleansing, leaving those that are left.

And what do those that are left, that have seeked righteousness, look forward to? Jesus says they will be taken up into Heaven.

In the meantime, Jesus says in Matthew 6:25-34 25, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly FATHER KNOWS THAT YOU NEED THEM ALL. BUT SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE ADDED TO YOU.”

SO, WHAT TO CONCLUDE REGARDING CLIMATE CHANGE? Those who are responsible for contributing to climate change will be punished for doing so, and God will go further in destroying the earth. Those who are not responsible for contributing to climate change, and have seeked God’s Righteousness need not worry, for God had intended to destroy the earth anyway to punish those that are evil not only in terms of climate change but other things too, leaving the righteous to remain, and those who are righteous will enter Heaven and be there forever.

God made mankind care taker of all that is in this age in His creation. He has told us in advence in at least two foretelings that the earth would lie polluted under its inhabitants for the fruit of their doing.

Remember the first truly true believers did not have an addition to the Old testament called the dNew except for the fact the Gospel is contained in the Old if the eyes are opned and the heart undertaqnds.

It is reported that other planets in our solar system are heating up also. Many years ago they were calling for another ice age. If you study the history of the planet instead of the current news headlines, it becomes obvious the earth undergoes global changes, which cause seas to rise, islands to shift, civilizations to be destroyed and glaziers to form. Christ was aware of these changes and knew what to tell the people to look for. It would also be safe to conclude that Lucifer is also aware and can use this information to gain control. FYI, many laws have been implemented, superseding government legislations, to give authority to global powers, under the guise of combating global warming, and sustainability.

As I indicated above, Genesis 2:15 says, “The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.” That is, keep it in the condition God gave it to him. Man, then, has no responsibility for the earth before man arrived.

If my people, which are called by My Name (Believers), shall humble themselves (humility), and pray, and seek My Face (the prayer of Repentance), and turn from their wicked ways (which proclaims the manner of true Repentance); then will I hear from Heaven (but not otherwise), and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land (God's Prescription for spiritual sickness). 2 Chronicles 7:14

I think you entirely miss the point and the sarcasm . . . climate change has existed since the earliest days and now all of a sudden it is man's fault?

You know the whole globull warming is a tax scheme, right?

Repair the Altar of the Lord by re-establishing your (Believers) faith in Christ and the Cross. It is the Cross that stops judgement in our land and our life. We must understand that ungodly living does bring difficulties that will cause it to rain on the Just and the unjust.

I was going to say, you have to convince many that climate change is real first. But I guess they said that for me ;)

I just find it interesting how people can't see what is in front of them. The Bible says the world will be led away from Him and towards the antichrist, yet they can't see his holiness Trump as part of that path (or they even see him as turning us from it, as if we are outside the reach of prophecy). Likewise, in this case, God says the earth will end up burnt. And as JaumeJ pointed out God says it will be at the hands of man. Yet these people will deny it is happening or that we have any part in it.

Nature can start a fire. Man can start a fire too, and even make a natural fire worse.

Nature can heat the planets. What insanity thinks man can't do that too or make it worse?

Believe your Bibles people. And correlate what's going on in front of you with what's in the Book.

Simply amazing how so many Christians believe this man made global warming stuff. Don't they know the god of this world is a deceiver?

How many of you knew the world has had a massive drop in temps the past 2 yrs?

Don't Tell Anyone, But We Just Had Two Years Of Record-Breaking Global Cooling

Inconvenient Science: NASA data show that global temperatures dropped sharply over the past two years. Not that you'd know it, since that wasn't deemed news. Does that make NASA a global warming denier?

Writing in Real Clear Markets, Aaron Brown looked at the official NASA global temperature data and noticed something surprising. From February 2016 to February 2018, "global average temperatures dropped by 0.56 degrees Celsius." That, he notes, is the biggest two-year drop in the past century.

"The 2016-2018 Big Chill," he writes, "was composed of two Little Chills, the biggest five month drop ever (February to June 2016) and the fourth biggest (February to June 2017). A similar event from February to June 2018 would bring global average temperatures below the 1980s average."
Isn't this just the sort of man-bites-dog story that the mainstream media always says is newsworthy?
In this case, it didn't warrant any news coverage.
In fact, in the three weeks since Real Clear Markets ran Brown's story, no other news outlet picked up on it. They did, however, find time to report on such things as tourism's impact on climate change, how global warming will generate more hurricanes this year, and threaten fish habitats, and make islands uninhabitable. They wrote about a UN official saying that "our window of time for addressing climate change is closing very quickly."
Reporters even found time to cover a group that says they want to carve President Trump's face into a glacier to prove climate change "is happening."
In other words, the mainstream news covered stories that repeated what climate change advocates have been saying ad nauseam for decades.

That's not to say that a two-year stretch of cooling means that global warming is a hoax. Two years out of hundreds or thousands doesn't necessarily mean anything. And there could be a reasonable explanation. But the drop in temperatures at least merits a "Hey, what's going on here?" story.

What's more, journalists are perfectly willing to jump on any individual weather anomaly — or even a picture of a starving polar bear — as proof of global warming. (We haven't seen any stories pinning Hawaii's recent volcanic activity on global warming yet, but won't be surprised if someone tries to make the connection.)

We've noted this refusal to cover inconvenient scientific findings many times in this space over the years.

Hiding The Evidence
There was the study published in the American Meteorological Society's Journal of Climate showing that climate models exaggerate global warming from CO2 emissions by as much as 45%. It was ignored.

Then there was the study in the journal Nature Geoscience that found that climate models were faulty, and that, as one of the authors put it, "We haven't seen that rapid acceleration in warming after 2000 that we see in the models."

Nor did the press see fit to report on findings from the University of Alabama-Huntsvilleshowing that the Earth's atmosphere appears to be less sensitive to changing CO2 levels than previously assumed.

How about the fact that the U.S. has cut CO2 emissions over the past 13 years faster than any other industrialized nation? Or that polar bear populations are increasing? Or that we haven't seen any increase in violent weather in decades?

Crickets.

The only global warming that the unsaved need to worry about is this . . .

"And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire" (Revelation 16:8).

Man's solution to this threat? Pretend the Book of Revelation was fulfilled in A.D. 70 and explain it all away as figurative.

It’s more than a tax scheme. It’s a form of social justice. They seek to redistribute the wealth of the west and give it to those that they feel have been left out in the economic development of the western countries. The sad fact about the whole thing is that all the cutbacks in emissions in the western world has been eliminated by the increase in emissions from the lesser developed countries.

You are simply assuming that human beings are responsible for climate change. But there is little or no evidence for this false belief. It is a MANUFACTURED CRISIS.

Why was climate change made into a major issue by Socialists, Left-Liberals, and the globalist elites ? Because they had (and have) an AGENDA to destroy the economies of the West and make all countries equivalent to third world countries. Do the most populous countries of the world -- China and India -- give a hoot about climate change? Not at all, and they are the worst polluters in the world.

That is also why the Left-Liberals have been -- and are -- promoting migrant invasions across the world. This is all part of a very evil agenda to enslave mankind, and the whole scare about climate change is A HOAX.

Lesse, ICE AGE.........brrrrr.............. MELT DOWN.......whew.......

Since God implemented climate, after the flood, our climate has always been in a state of flux. It changes hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly.............and it will continue to do so until He comes back and puts and end to this old rock.......

Climate goes in cycles............warm a wee while, cool a wee while, cold a wee while, wet a wee while, dry a wee while........

And, yes, our climate has been warming, but for several years now the trend is towards cooling, BUT that ain't what the liberals wanna tell ya........cuz, well, cuz they have their agenda...........and truth is relative, or not even worthy of mention to them.
