Captain Kirk wore gold. Starfleet members in red uniforms usually died before the first commercial. Spock and Bones wore blue but of course, you already knew this. )
I used to watch that show everyday when i was a kid. It's hard to believe I was never a trekkie. I always liked star trek for how they solved their dilemmas. I never really payed attention to all the cool tech they had. I do love Star Wars though! :D (but only the original trilogy)

I saw the first Star Wars movie in 1977 in a drive-in while on a date. The popcorn was stale and the Pepsi was flat. Good flick though. I ended up marrying the girl on the date. Bad mistake going to a drive-in with her. Second wife died prematurely at age 59 and now currently married to the last wife I will have. It is my own personal trilogy.

I saw the first star wars in a drive in too! :) But with family. My dad wanted us to see it and we never even heard of it. But that night I instantly became a huge star wars fan.

Sorry about your first wife. ♥ You know what, one of the first posts I ever read of yours was something you wrote about her and how you felt so lost. It was really touching and I felt some of your sorrow but didn't know how to reply so I don't think I ever did.

Wait. Which one was Spock?

I was always more of a Star Wars fan, too. I did watch Star Trek and Doctor Who (one of the older doctors) growing up, but Star Wars was definitely more my thing growing up. I was too young to remember seeing A New Hope first run, but saw The Empire Strikes Back in the theater.

I’m not as much of a fan of he newer Star Wars movies. The prequels are a very very guilty pleasure lol

Spock was played by Leonard Nimoy. He was Kirk's right hand man. The super smart one with the pointy ears. Bones was the ship's doctor.

On the subject of bedding, I went to sleep a few weeks ago after working with insulation all day, without showering first....... Big mistake. OOPS. In my defense I was really tired.

Here's an interesting thing that kinda offends me but not enough to give up gaming since it was inevitable. Basically there's a game called fight of Gods thats being released soon on all consoles PS4 Switch Xbox. Now this has Gods and Godesses from different Mythologies which wouldnt be bad but Jesus and Moses are playable characters and its a fighting game. Whats funny is the super small company in Indonesia states to people in the beginning of the game it does not mean to offend with it. Which even the secular news article I read about it in was saying when you can have Moses hit Jesus with the Ten Commandments you clearly failed at not offending anyone  Ironically it was also put on hold in Indonesia because of backlash too but probably not because of Jesus more likely for the inclusion of Buddha...at least there aiming to anger everyone.... needless to say I will not be supporting this company in any future releases or anything else.

Just tell me something... it doesn't even matter what it is... something new you learned recently, what you had for lunch, what your new year resolution will be.....
