Are the Gospels written specifically to Jews only?

There is a slight difference between Noah and Paul. Noah did not write about himself, Moses did that…...
When that story is read under the unction.

What do we see?

The horrors of sin.
The payday most of the world works so hard for.

The face of the sinner in the hopeless grip of the waters, his grave.

We see the inlaws, all wiped out with their familys.

We are recieving a new comitment for souls. A renewed prompting to reach those in this worlds death grip.

Noah a "non issue"?
Not hardly

Or,
All the bible was written by the Holy Spirit, including the epistles.

And all is profitable, not JUST pauls writings.

See, that?

You do well to read paul.
Not so well to put the bible in conflict with itself

What of the lessons of the parables?

Are those cast out as well?

Surely you do not take your stand there.

To think the believer has no thought discipline.

Again, you see conflict where none exists
In fact,something just hit me.

What of the fact paul disciplined his thought life?????

Several verses off the top of my head.

I can look them up if you like

Speaking of lessons of the parables, I see them also in the law. One in particular is the lesson of the Sower, the Seed and the earth. The law that foretells this parable is "Do not sow two kinds of see in the same field." It is kind of a thrill to consider…….all to the glory of our Jesus, amen.

To me,if the bible has a heartbeat it is 1&2 samuel.

If it has a heart,it is The King,Jesus

Way,way,way beyond a pauline prism

I love to learn just about everything from our Jesus though I have picked up a bit from Paul, I still love to go to the Master. I feel it is fulfilling the prophecy that we will be taught of God, and, afterall, Jesus has invited all wh will accept it to learn from Him…….that is taught of God,l oh yes, amen.

The bible,to me explodes in wonderment under the unction.
There is such a building of truth.

One that comes to mind is the kinsman redeemer in ruth.

Or the vivid picture of the jewish betrothal at the last supper.

The typeology of David, and that of hebrews.

A feast of heaven in the bible. A feast of his word

Are you to take vows, and shave your head like paul?
That's what Paul did to win the his Jewish brethren. The Holy Spirit through Paul did not command the body of Christ to do likewise. Your point is not valid.

Yea I think all of the Bible is beneficial to read, and all the gospels, otherwise, in sunday school we would not have many stories to tell and act out lol.

GOd may not tell you to build an ark, but he might ask you to preach rightousness which Noah did, and look after your animals.

Nope.
You added that
It says he was keepinh a vow.
A vow is a persomal inner line in the sand.

Paul was no man pleaser.

Your assumption is in no way consistant with Pauls charachter.

You are actually transposing what he rebuked peter for onto paul.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God...

Paul leaves Corinth after almost two years of work (Acts 18:11,18).

Paul shaves his hair off according to the vow of a Nazarite. (Num. 6:13,18,21) But why? Up to this time Paul's desire to participate in the Jewish feasts and vows has seemingly been ignored or been nonexistent. Paul had been in Jerusalem three times before with no mention of anything like this. Paul knew that his was no longer necessary .... but why?

In (Acts 18:19) he entered and taught in the synagogue. He was received well (vs. 20.) He had just spent two years in Corinth where according to the New Testament, the signs were most abundantly used, meaning a large population of unbelieving Jews. Paul must have had an overwhelming desire to reach his people with the message of salvation.

Something has happened to Paul's heart:

Two synagogue rulers were just converted under his ministry (vs. 8,17). This renewed his burden (Rom. 9:13). The shaving of his head is becoming all things to all men. He shaves his head as a testimony to the Jews (1 Cor. 9:20).

Well, from what I know, most Gentile Christians have never distinguished between the Gospel of the Kingdom and the Gospel of Grace, they lump both of them together as one Gospel. Most churches never distinguished them too, they simply assume that everyone preaches the same message, whether Jesus, 12 disciples, or Paul which they regard as "just another apostle like the other 12".

It takes personal revelation to distinguish between them, I only just realized the difference last year.
Us Gentiles have turned the message of Jesus and His coming unto His own into a circus and a and a farce because the realization that indeed the 4 Gospels were written to the Jews and not Gentiles is not even give a second glance from those that had no idea that this teaching comes from the Bible they supposedly believe in, yet the comments regarding a straight forward question is so out there and in some cases laughable it is hardly given a serious thought. And as appears to be the case as i become familiar with the way this supposedly Christian group operates questions only become a forum for what can only be called free for all where egos can strut their stuff and hijack the discussion for their own agenda and when the occasion arises start a new thread. You can operate the ignore tool which at least means you do not have to read what they have to say, and this might be a blessing.

Did paul get his revelation from a different Holy Spirit than the apostles and Jesus?
Is that why you guys think in a " paul only" mindset?
Galatians 1: 11 Dear brothers and sisters, I want you to understand that the gospel message I preach is not based on mere human reasoning. 12 I received my message from no human source, and no one taught me. Instead, I received it by direct revelation from Jesus Christ.[d]

14 Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless, 15 and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, 16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things,in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. (2 Peter 3.14-16).

The ascended Lord Jesus chose Paul as the messenger of the Gospel of Grace and revealed to him stuff that no one else had, stuff that even Peter finds hard to understand. Topics like the rapture, righteousness apart from works, mystery of the Church where Jews and Gentiles are equal, are all examples of such secrets.

Actually I believe that you learn a lot more when you engage with people who disagrees with you. The process of trying to explain yourself clearly has great personal benefits.

One good thing about engaging with strangers over the Internet is this, you get to interact with people with very different views of life. Often the friends you meet in your daily life either think very much the same as you, for example church friends, or are unwilling to engage you in any deep intellectual topics. Furthermore, because you know one another in real life, the conversation is often very polite and you won’t really know what the other person really thinks.

But on the Internet, you solve both problems. First, you get to engage with people who think very differently from you. Second, because you will not meet each other in real life, you often get very frank opinions being shared.

There is a flip side to that second point of course, when you know for sure you will never meet them in real life, its much easier for some of them to start insulting you and making other personal remarks while debating, that is unfortunate but is something that is beyond your control.

What is under your control is your own response and I can see the silver lining behind it, it teaches you not to repay like for like, but rather, trains you to truly understand that, you can only control your response to whatever life throws at you.

But the good thing of course, is that only with debating others, that you have an incentive to understand more the other party’s view of the issue, and whether or not you agree with them in the end, your knowledge base expands. :)

You cannot debate people that have use your post as an avenue to push their agenda regardless if it has no impact or relevance to the subject matter in the post.

Its alright to me, patience is a fruit of the spirit. You cannot control how others respond to your post, just state your point and let them come to the revelation in their own timing. :)

All four gospels are for all of us, but Matthew was especially written for the Jews, Mark for the Romans, Luke for the Greeks and John for all the world.

The gospels were written for all the world, but only the Jews were supposed to obey the commandments of Jesus related to the law of Moses. After the death of the Lord on the cross there was a long transition period between the Old and the New Covenant, but eventually all Jews were freed from the Law.

Inward Jew as born again of the incorruptible Spirit of the word of God . Or a outward Jew pertaining to the flesh?

I do not recall well, but I believe the vow of a Nazar requires not cutting the hair.

Perhaps it is shaved at its inception?
