I am being a pest with you but I wanted to say that I really appreciate your sharing with me, it means a great deal to me. I really appreciate it. I wish these helped ♡.

I do know, Sis, because I have the ability to grind on others nerves, lol. I have been harshly and callously dealt with by Christian Brothers and Sisters who just didn't like me, for whatever reason. I mulled and pondered and waded in the trying to make it not hurt and to understand. It hurts, especially, as you said, your heart is invested in someone.
Barrrooooo Sis, me to you, I 100% get it! It is nice to have safe places to go, where one knows it isn't defining, it is just working something through. True Strength is found in vulnerability. No that is not right, true strength is found in Him. Vulnerability helps though, Hahaha.

Again though, like you said, we will be ok, better not bitter, loving Him and others more, because He will get us there.

Seriously, thanks for the time and your sharing and insight.
The truth seems to me to be some folks are addicted to chaos. Peace, love and kindness makes them irate and irrational. They are sick and no medication is available from doctors and they have a spiritual deficit that only the Holy Spirit can treat. If they only accepted the lord on an intellectual level they are still walking wounded. Just keep telling the truth and praying for them. Praying for people that use christian speak (1984), rather than love and mercy is something I neglect too. Lord, I'm sorry.

First, I am trying NOT to be envious that you get to visit with Magenta, :).

I appreciate those verses, Colossians 3 covers so much in that one chapter, soooo MUCH!!! I like how galations really brings a lot of harmony to all the scriptures.
It's ok. I only mentioned her name that way so she'll get an alert when she logs in. I'm sure she will have either something to share and/or one of her beautiful art works. We just have to wait.;)

I put "dragging my heart around" in google, because I think we all can relate from time to time, some of these verses came up....

Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you. Therefore, I will always be ready to remind you of these things, even though you already know them, and have been established in the truth which is present with you. I consider it right, as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, to stir you up by way of reminder, knowing that the laying aside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, as also our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. And I will also be diligent that at any time after my departure you will be able to call these things to mind.
2 Peter 1:5‭-‬15 NASB

I consider it right, as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, to stir you up by way of reminder, knowing that the laying aside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, as also our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

Everything is for our and others own good, all for His Glory. Knowing it doesn't make the sting go away, not at first, but His healing love and a little time turns it all around. Laughter helps too, lol. Seriously, Praise the Lord!!!

Here is to walking in His victory and Praising Him for it!!!!

Love you all and God Bless. Thanks for the time, your insights and for opening up and for being a safe place for me to do the same. I thank my Lord for you.

Oh yeah? OH YEAH?! Well my Romans 16:17 trumps your Jude 22 and I'll throw in an out-of-context II Titus 2:23 for good measure. SO THERE! (And don't make me break out all the verses in Proverbs about avoiding fools...)

*Lynx sticks his nose in the air and struts away.

And that's another of my pet peeves. People who argue about scripture for the sake of winning arguments and feeling good about themselves.
My Bible has no II Titus. But it does have the book of II Opinions. But it you reference Bible books that don't exist, you must be a heretic. And II Opinions 1:6 states it is the duty of every Christian to harass those who disagree with you until they admit their heresy and come around to your way of thinking :p

Not calling back or responding to texts or emails. What happened to good old fashioned manners?

I have that for breakfast often but prefer French roast with vanilla/fudge revel, in the same tumbler... I was just going with the Italian theme earlier. I'm 6' 2" I can get away with alot food wise.

Gossip couched as prayer requests.

"You should pray for brother Johnny, he's been going through..." and we talk about brother Johnny and all the stuff he is mixed up in, then we go our ways and never get around to praying for brother Johnny.

Quote from a Steve Camp song:
That's better than stabbing him in the back I suppose. :)

haha...a big guy, eh? tallest guy I ever was serious with was 6' 5" no kidding. I'm 5' 7" but there is a limit to what I can gobble up without my tight jeans getting even tighter haha...women go by jeans ... well quite a few

I always prefer Columbian cause I make it really strong...I find Java has an edge to it...or maybe that's just me...I find Columbian is harder to find in stores

I don't mind flavored coffee but not for breakfast.. I'm one of those 'walk away. don't risk your life. haven't had my coffee yet' kind of people. so coffee has to be straight...none of that frilly stuff

Not necessarily a pet peeve, maybe just disappointed when people who claim to be Christian are incapable of adhering to the Five Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz…

I found that once I internalized and truly understood these agreements, my emotional, spiritual and physical well-being thrived.

BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD – When they are Unable to speak with Integrity.

DON’T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY – When they Take too many things personally.

DON’T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS – When they Too often make Bad Assumptions rather than ask questions.

ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST – When they Are often too quick to response, react and make Bad Decisions.

BE SKEPTICAL, BUT LEARN TO LISTEN – When they are Too quick to judge without trying to Understand or acknowledge other opinions or perspectives.

It is disappointing when people who claim to be Christians:

Believe they can find their Peace & Happiness in a Place, Thing or Activity; and NOT realize that their Peace & Happiness are A Choice..

When they keep holding onto the past, are unable to let go of old wounds, and are relentlessly unforgiving…

Yes, yes yes, and don't those agreements all come down to dying to self so we can Love Him and others as we are called? Hey, don't get me wrong, I'm not always on point. I have plenty hiccups that He and I are working with. We are so blessed with Him!

Wait...be skeptical is ew, but i guess that is a part of being wise as a serpent, but like these agreements say do so gently as a dove.

Ya, 'being skeptical' is an interesting choice of words...
Yes, I think it is intended to be interpreted in that context...
Many of us want to believe there is good in everyone... But the reality is that there are a lot of broken people, and then there are a lot of people that are either dis-honest, or deliberately deceptive, or even unwittingly masquerading in a pool of flawed-belief systems...
I suspect that in this context we are challenged to listen to the intent behind the words, and strive to understand the real message.

Once we understand the true colors of all we come into contact with - it is then that we are able to understand and look past their inherent flaws...
