No, it's the most important part in trying to start a relationship. Some people have a defeatist attitude and give up easily or not even try at all. Perseverance is often necessarily to get the relationship started and that means you have to pursue, whether or not it is a man or woman doing the pursuing.

My opinion is that a guy should pursue a woman .He should be the first one to express his feelings to a woman
I think that's is the way I would feel most comfortable too.
I've already given my opinion on the matter.
But, i actually have been 'pursued' by women. I wasn't bothered by it, but a couple did require a Lot to get 'no' through their heads.
This silliness over the use of the word pursue though...
