You're right, we don't know you, but you reacting critically to a man who is known and respected for his wisdom and grace isn't going to earn you any credit. You don't know him either, and so you probably don't see that he was offering you some advice.
Take a breath, let it go, and maybe be a little more active on the site. There are some really great people here. If you tone down the reactivity, you might get to know some of them.
