To me its obvious AS well as to Chuck Smith whom I Spoke to about this, HERE IS SCRIPTURES SAYING JESUS IS GOD but the word "GOD" AS far as power and authority are given to Christ but the Father and the Holy Spirit are God as well. They are the SAME Spirit, meaning, they are within each other in heaven... they are all GOD.
THREE ARE ONE ARE THREE.

Jesus is the Son of the Father, HE is God as is the Father as is the Holy Spirit all are ONE Spirit BUT THREE ARE ONE ARE THREE ARE ONE!
John 20:17 - Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'
Rev – 3:12 “Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name.”
HOW MANY TIMES DOES JESUS SAY “MY GOD” in HEAVEN? THIS is while Jesus is in heaven He says this.
1 Corinthians 15: 27 - For he (The Father) “has put everything under his (Christ’s) feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him (Christ), it is clear that this does not include God (The Father) himself, who put everything under Christ. 28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God (The Father) may be all in all.
REVELATIONS 2: 26 - To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations — 27 'He will rule them with an iron scepter; he will dash them to pieces like pottery'— just as I have received authority from my Father.

Rev 3:5 - He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.
Mat 28:19 - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 18:10 - “See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven."
Hebrews 1:5 AMONG OTHER PLACES - For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father"? Or again, "I will be his Father, and he will be my Son"?
John 1:2 - My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. --- STOP... ALEX: now.. if JESUS was THE FATHER there WOULD BE NO SPEAKING TO ANYONE in OUR behalf,
John 14:20 – “On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”
John 14:26 - But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you ALL things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
*** FATHER SENDS THE SPIRIT …. Jesus said the SPIRIT comes AFTER HE DIES and goes back to the FATHER.. YET.. HE SAYS THE FATHER WILL SEND IT IN HIS NAME!
STOP RELYING on your heart:
Jeremiah 17:9 - The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?
Rev- 21:22 - I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. Ror the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.
Rev – 14:1 - Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.
*** HIS NAME AND HIS FATHERS NAME ON THEIR HEADS!

I believe that Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are just one person, just as a man can simultaneously be a father, son, and husband.

ya me too about the one person. Jesus, Father, and Son are God but they have their separation as individuals.

Father is God but not the Son
Son is God but not the Spirit
Spirit is God but not the Father

this is how i see it.:)

HeavenWithinYOU, there is an alternate explanation which you are not considering here. When you look at those verses you see what you want to see, but maybe it's saying something completely different?

Friend, The Orthodox doctrine of perichoresis (circumincession) states that all Three Persons of the Trinity are IN each other. The Father is in the Son and the Spirit; the Son is in the Father and the Spirit; the Spirit is in the Father and the Son. But the Father is not the Son nor the Spirit; the Son is not the Father nor the Spirit; the Spirit is not the Father nor the Son. We must keep that in mind: all three persons are distinct and not the same person; the three persons are not all one person; they are all God, but they are not each other. In Erie PA Scott R. That is like what i was also thinking, people who do not know what it means will not know in tell they actually find out themselves. (Father is not Jesus but they are both the same God) ;) oh there is a trinity but there is something about it that makes it a trinity....not just three persons in one being that is one God....

Father is not Jesus but yet they are both the same God. May sound confusing but you might not understand it yet. when i was saying before about in my last post on here i was meaning a context of the trinity. and as you can see someone had comment against it.

There was no God-model formulation handed down by the Apostles. In the earliest years of the primitive Church, emphasis was given to a biblical mode of living rather than developing theology. As the need for apologetics emerged to combat Gnosticism and Polytheism, various formulations came about. All were primarily to maintain Monotheism while accounting for Jesus.

With variations, six basic God-models became well-developed from the late-1st century onward. One of those was Sabellianism/Monarchianism/Patripassianism, which is (are) the original forerunner(s) for modern Oneness doctrine. It wasn't that the Father was the Son, so much as it was One God manifested in various ways, including as the Son.

Trinity "won" the contest of God-models, and has declared all others anathema and heretical. Unitarianism, Binitarianism, Tritheism, Arianism, and Sabellianism have all been anathematized by the orthodox church and all other trinitarians.

All ecclesio-political leverage aside, Oneness is as valid as Trinity. Modes and Persons both need to give way to truth. The most annointed men of God I've known have all been Oneness.

Dear friend, It is questionable whether it is even possible to be anointed of God, and to be Oneness if oneness means Sabellian. God is one. One God only. But not one Person only. If Oneness means God is one person only, it is heretical. One of the Oneness Pentecostals was William Branham, and he claimed to be the Messiah, the Christ, and he claimed the Trinity was a doctrine invented by satan. Go figure. I hope your anointed Oneness people are not like Branham. But if they teach the Trinity is heretical, and therefore, by implication, from satan, then these oneness people are in schism and in heresy, and should be opposed for the sake of Church unity and Christian truth. Take care. We don't need Sabellianism, or Oneness, or whatever you call it. We need to worship the Father, Son, and Spirit one God. In Erie PA Scott R. Harrington

From my observation of the Bible this is what I get.

Before God created anything,He is a Holy Spirit. That is what God is,a Holy Spirit. There is one God,the Holy Spirit.

When God created humans,He is the Father of spirits, and the Father of all who follow Him.

God is a Holy Spirit, and Father is a title for God the Holy Spirit.

The Son is the man Christ Jesus.

God is a Holy Spirit, and Father is a title, and the Son is the man Christ Jesus.

There is only one God,who is an omnipresent Spirit, and is the same throughout His omnipresent Spirit, with no distinction of persons.

Whatever He calls Himself, and whatever title He has,He is still one God with no distinction of persons, and it is the one God who created all things, manifest all His attributes to the Son,the man Christ Jesus, and dwells in the saints.

When having that aspect of God,all scriptures will fall in to place, and all things can be explained where someone thinks there is a trinity.

The Bible says Jesus created all things.Jesus is God manifest in the flesh.Jesus dwells in the saints.

The name of the Father,Son,and Holy Ghost is Jesus, telling us that Jesus is the one true God who created all things, which the Bible says the Son shall be called the everlasting Father, showed us a visible manifestation of Himself, which He is God manifest in the flesh, and dwells in the saints, which Jesus said He is the Holy Spirit with the Jews and shall soon be in them, and the Lord is that Spirit.

God said to the Jews that He would reveal a new name to them, and speak to them, and the prophet Agur wrote of this and said, what is His name(Father),and what is His Son's name if you can tell, indicating that the Father and Son would share the same name.

Jesus is fully God and fully man,and is the name of both the Father, and the Son,the man Christ Jesus.

Jesus said He came in His Father's name, and the Son inherited the name from the Father.

The Holy Spirit comes in the name of Jesus.

Jesus is the name of the Father,Son,and Holy Spirit, telling us that Jesus is the one true God,who created all things, came in flesh, and dwells in the saints. This scripture actually refutes a trinity to let us know Jesus is the one true God,so we will not make a trinity out of that verse.

The book of Luke says baptism is to be done in Jesus' name.

Jews,Gentiles, and Samaritans, were all baptized in the name of Jesus.

Everything we do in word or deed is done in the name of Jesus.

There is no other name under heaven whereby we are saved but the name Jesus.

God manifest in the flesh means that God manifest all His attributes to the man Christ Jesus, and the Spirit in Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God,for God cannot be separated, meaning Jesus is not another God,but God showing us a visible manifestation of Himself.

Father,Son,and Holy Ghost, are not 3 persons in one God,but the 3 ways that the one true God has a relationship with His people, designated by titles.

Father-the saints parent.

Son-God's visible relationship to the saints.God working visibly among us.

Holy Spirit-God's invisible relationship to the saints.God working invisibly among us.

Jesus is more than a visible God,for the Bible says He dwells in the light that no man can approach unto, whom no man has seen, and no man can ever see.

Even though we cannot see Jesus because He is an invisible God,we can see a visible manifestation of Him.

The Bible says there is one God the Father.

The Bible says the Son shall be called the everlasting Father, because there is only one deity, the Father, and Jesus is God manifest in the flesh.

Jesus said if you have seen Him then you have seen the Father, for He is the Father showing us a visible manifestation of Himself.

Jesus is the Father, for there is only one God,and the Son is the man Christ Jesus.

The Bible says the Son was made according to the flesh, made a little lower than the angels(flesh),made of a woman, made under the law.

The Son is the man Christ Jesus.

God the Father glorified the Son,the man Christ Jesus, and sits on the throne in heaven in the glorified body of the man Christ Jesus, for it is the throne of both God and the Lamb. There is only one throne and one who sits on the throne.

The Bible says that God calls things that have not yet happened,as though they already happened, for if it is a plan of God to happen in the future,it is the same as if it already happened, for it will surely come to pass.

The Bible says the Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world, although we know it did not happen until 4000 years later, for God calls things that have not happened,as though they already happened.

Any reference to the Son being in the beginning means that the Son,the man Christ Jesus, was a plan in the beginning to be born in the future,so it was the same as if the Son was in the beginning.

Let us make man in our image is a prophetic statement to the coming of the Son of God,who is fully God and fully man.

The Old Testament says that God created man in His image.

The New Testament says that Adam was created in the image of Christ.

The image of God is the image of Christ.

God had the plan in His mind to come in the future manifest in the flesh, and God created Adam in that image.

Adam was created an innocent nature in flesh, a living soul. The Son,the man Christ Jesus,is an innocent nature in flesh,a quickening spirit.

Let us make man in our image is God the Father, and the Son,the man Christ Jesus, who can be in the beginning, because He was a plan of God to be born in the future,so it is the same as if He was in the beginning.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,and the Word was God.

All things were made by Him,and without Him was not anything made that was made.

The Bible is the word of God,God revealing Himself and truth by words.

The Word of God is God revealing Himself personally and truth to people, and Jesus is God with us.

The Word of God is not another God but God revealing Himself personally to people, which God told the Jews that one day He would reveal a new name to them, and speak to to them, which He did as Jesus Christ, which the Bible says that God has spoken to us in these last days by His Son.

In the beginning was the plan of God to come in the future in flesh, and that plan was already with God before He laid down the foundation of the world, and that plan was God manifest in the flesh.

All things were made with the plan of God coming in flesh, and without the plan of God coming in the flesh,God would of not created anything that He created.

All of Creation hinges on Jesus Christ,God manifest in the flesh.

When the Bible says that Christ is the firstborn of every creature it means, that God had the plan in the beginning for the man Christ Jesus to be born in the future, which all creation is created because of Him,so it is the same as if the man Christ Jesus were in the beginning and the firstborn, because He has to be the start of creation for all creation hinges on Him,and without Him was not anything made that was made.

The right hand of God means that God exalted the man Christ Jesus to exercise the throne of power for a certain amount of time.

In the Old Testament it says when God brought the Jews out from Egypt,He brought them out with His right hand, and then revealed His name Jehovah to represent physical delivery.God then used compound names of Jehovah to represent a new aspect of His character.

God's right hand represents power, salvation, and wisdom.

Christ is the power and wisdom of God,and gives us salvation.

God saved us by His right hand,Jesus, who is God manifest in flesh, and brought us out of the world, and revealed the name Jesus, which means spiritual deliverance.

Jesus is the name that is above all names, not only in this world but in the world to come.Jesus is above the name Jehovah but includes Jehovah, and Jesus is the name of the Father.

The Bible says that there is one God,and one mediator between God and men,the man Christ Jesus.

The man Christ Jesus is our savior, for only a sinless man can approach a holy God on mankind's behalf.

No man is sinless,so God manifest all His attributes to the man Christ Jesus, and reconciled sinful mankind back to Himself in the person of Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man in harmony, and all who receive the Spirit are in harmony with God.

Jesus at the right hand of God means, that God exalted the man Christ Jesus to exercise the throne of power for a certain amount of time, for He is our savior and must reign until all His enemies are conquered, and then the Son shall stop exercising the throne of power that God may be all in all.

The Bible says that there is only one throne in heaven, and one who sits on it,and it is the throne of both God and the Lamb,God in the glorified body of the man Christ Jesus, and the visible relationship of the invisible God to the saints forever.

Jesus at the right hand of God does not mean that Jesus is a separate God from the Father, but God exalted the Son,the man Christ Jesus,to exercise the throne of power for a certain amount of time.

The Bible says that the Son shall deliver up the kingdom, which is the Church,to the Father, but in another passage of scripture it says,Jesus shall present the Church to Himself.

God reconciled sinful mankind back to Himself in the person of Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man in harmony, and God will present the kingdom to Himself in the person of Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man in harmony.

Jesus said when He resurrects to heaven,to not ask Him anything, but only ask the Father and He will do it,but in another passage of scripture,Jesus said when He resurrects to heaven,to ask Him and He will do it.

The man Christ Jesus prayed for the disciples, and the disciples dealt with Him to go to the Father for them, but when Jesus resurrected to heaven the saints would not need the man Christ Jesus to pray for them, but they could go to Jesus as the Father. When Jesus told them this, then they knew that He came from God,and knew all things.

There is only one God who is a Holy Spirit, and Father is a title for God the Holy Spirit, and the Son is the man Christ Jesus.

14That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

15Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate(ruler), the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

16Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen(1 Timothy 6:14-16).

6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace(Isaiah 9:6).

8Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any(Isaiah 44:8).

6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all(Ephesians 4:6).

6But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him(1 Corinthians 8:6).

There is one God,the Father, and one visible manifestation of God the Father to the saints, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The book of Luke says baptism is to be done in Jesus' name.

Everything a Christian does or has done to him should be in Jesus' name. Jesus is the name of the second person of the Trinity. Christian baptism, is not only done in Jesus' name only; it is to be done by the Church in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). Thus, the Jesus' name teaching is only a part of Christian baptism: His name is included in baptism, which is to be done in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. In the book of Acts, baptism is done in Jesus name, and this does not contradict Matthew 28:19. Jesus is a part of the Trinity, and thus the Church baptizes in the name of the Father, Son, and Spirit. In Erie PA Scott R. Harrington

This quote is false. There is precise authority in the Gospels for the Trinity. The precise authority is summarized perfectly in one verse: Matthew 28:19. And only one verse of Scripture is needed to establish the truth of any Christian doctrine (dogma). The Trinity is dogmatically taught in Matthew 28:19 and other verses of the NT. It is the meaning of this verse which shows three persons are being discussed, namely, as Matthew 28:19 lists them in orderly fashion:
the Father
the Son
the Holy Spirit
and in the name of indicating only one God thus, .... not names, but name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit three persons in one God; Amen. In Erie PA Scott R. Harrington March 2011 AD

Ok.....the trinity is three person in being one God. Jesus, Father, Son is God.

what people are not understanding is this......Jesus is not the Father but both are the same person which is God and threes only one God.(THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE) ok think of water, actually pretend water is the Father which is God. When it get cold enough the water freezes into a solid which turns to Ice (Jesus). And when the water get hot enough it will turn into steam (Holy Spirit). So isn't Ice pretty much water but frozen, isn't steam water but gassy like. last time i heard is that Ice is Water and Steam is Water but what the difference is that they are in different temperatures....are you seeing it yet......Only water exist in its normal form or else steam will get thicker or the ice will melt....are you seeing it yet. Ice cannot be in a hot place, it need to be in cold places (Jesus needs to be human to live on earth like us). Steam cannot always be in cold places but in places of where steam is kept (the body of a individual).....are you yet seeing it.

Friend, These errors here are Sabellianism, and were refuted long ago by the Church, the Orthodox Church. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three persons in one God. They are not merely three relations or titles within the Godhead. That is an illusion. As for us being saved in no other name than Jesus, that is true. But Jesus saves not by Himself alone, but together with the Father and with the Holy Spirit. As John's Gospel reveals, Christ and the Father are one God. Together with the Holy Spirit, Who is also God. And the Spirit is mentioned in the baptism of Jesus testified to in the Gospels. These are three distinct persons together as one God, one Godhead. One Deity. Three persons: Father, Son, and Spirit. Sabellianism or Oneness Pentecostalism will not do. Jesus Christ is not the name of the Father, or of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the name of the Son, of God the Son, of the Son of God. Of the Son of Man.
Christians are not baptized in the name of Jesus only, but in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). AMEN AND AMEN. Come, LORD Jesus.

15Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate(ruler), the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

The Catholic Church has stated:

“Our opponents sometimes claim that no belief should be held dogmatically which is not explicitly stated in Scripture . . . . But the Protestant Churches have themselves accepted such dogmas as the Trinity for which there is no such precise authority in the Gospels.” (Life Magazine, October 30, 1950)
God Bless you, but...you'd seriously use a quote from Life magazine to affirm your position? Maybe want to change that?( Just a suggestion.)

Again, one being, not one person :)
