I’ve been reading some about climate change and how it’s going to effect us. I’ve seen people saying the world is going to end a humans will be going extinct in 10 years. I don’t know what to think and I’m very scared. Some of the things people are saying unfortunately has made me have questions about God. Are humans really going to be wiped out in 10 years if we don’t get our act together?

No humans will not be wiped out in 10 years but it will take some of the land away and could cause a lack of resources and health problems in some places

The earth has a remarkable ability to correct itself with God's help of course. I'm 65 and I've been hearing that doom and gloom stuff for more than 50 years and nothing happened that hasn't corrected it self. Including Volcanoes, acid rain, terrific earthquakes, hydrogen bombs, floods. Tsunamis, near miss comets, solar flares. Planetary alignments tearing the earth apart. Aliens from space... Please quit focusing on your fears. Nobody's been right yet.

We already know the end is coming, when we don't know. If He doesn't come back, time will take its toll on each of us. So what do we do with that? We hold on to His tender-mercies and make the most of our time serving Him and His. Oh and make sure we get out and look at that pretty nature He made, and smile often, laugh lots, find what's right and extend mercy, as often as we can and give God all the Glory. I get it, it can all seem pretty daunting. Don't worry, though, God has a plan and He loves us very much.

10 years is the current over / under odds by those on the far left. If I were a betting man I would place a bet on the 'over'.

What we are to do is 'occupy til He comes' and fear (reverence) only God. Worry is a tool of the enemy and His advise is 'to be anxious over nothing'. God bless!

Remember when Chicken Little went clucking around worrying that the sky was falling? And all over a little acorn that dropped on her head?

Well, worrying about climate change is similar to worrying about the sky falling, except that worrying about the sky falling is marginally smarter, because that could be a genuine concern, if it was really a piece of sky, rather than an acorn, which clocked Chicken Little on the head. With climate change, there's no actual evidence at all other than the seasons, which were around for far longer than Chicken Little.

Also, the chicken and her friends all get eaten by the fox at the end, for being stupid. So don't believe the fox when he tells you that climate change is the doom of man. He just thinks you taste good on toast.

Let us take the sound-bit of 'climate change.' This is the new spin (exaggeration), the new term. It was called 'global cooling,' afterwards, 'global warming,' now 'climate change.' In short, if you dig for evidence of an hypothesis (your idea) at some point you'll find it. When science starts saying man-causing climate change - and the propaganda (images, persuasion to frighten people) supports the onus probandi (burden of proof), you can be sure of one thing at least - humans are being blamed for changes in the earth's condition and so this will mean a substantial change of life (human life, that is) to support mitigation (controlled changes) for the 'climate change.' Look at fear tactics throughout the decades - it does not change. Whether it is the 20th Century (early 1900s) eugenics 'not enough food to go around' which led to hypothesis for evolution...the same tactic is in play. Call this conspiracy or call this actually what you want.

Agreed. Where I come from, we used to call this phenomena the four seasons. However, "climate change" does have a much scarier ring to it.

A person named after Charles Darwin (evolution fella) said eugenics should change its ideas and wording so that it will be accepted. What goes on now is likely the same thing, they likely come from eugenic families in English speaking countries (inc USA) or Europe. UK Parliament (Hansard) discusses even child sterilisation up to the 1970s. There is a pattern in that ideas from the late 1800s up to now in fact becoming diluted over time. So this 'climate change' would likely be a less in your face idea than 'global cooling' or 'global warming'...as to be fair, 'global cooling' and or 'global warming' are vague, more terrifying owing to its term/s which indicate/s fear but the term/s do not explain the consequence or 'effect.' 'Climate change' is a descriptor informing the public of its consequence or result but is not associated with fear - just apparent fact.
