I never again want to say of my "job" that "OH I'm just a housewife........." or "Just a mom".......... there is so much blessing to them.
THANK YOU LORD FOR THE BLESSINGS IN THESE ROLES! Help me to continue to see the blessing it is to my family that I am here in these roles where You have put me! Help me to not lose site of the blessings You give us all while filling our roles. And when things become stressful and I want to give up, remind me to keep going because it is to Your glory that I am where I am..... for such a time as this...............

God knows that managing a home and a family is a 24/7 career that utilizes a plethora of complex skills. <3

God bless all of our dedicated, hard-working "Domestic Engineers." After all, it's a career that many Christian women aspire to.

As I have been growing closer to the Lord and reflecting on things I am realizing more EVERYDAY that I am here and they are out there in the world (work and school) and for them to survive there, they need a safe haven, resting place so to say here, and that falls on me. No not "falls on", it's where the Lord has me. It's just easy to listen to people make comments and jokes about homemakers and life etc....... and lose site of what matters.

Certainly not just a housewife or mom! It seems more and more that is an unpopular path for women to take. But the importance of it is huge. Certainly not easy. Many times not enjoyable, but those little people need a loving, caring mom. who spends more time and has more influence in their lives than a stay at home mom?

Can they survive without? Yes. But will they thrive without? Your role is of great importance! And in 20 years you will look back and be glad you didn't trade it for another job.

Thanks. Hope it doesn't come off as complaining. It's just something that you kinda "know" truth in, but little by little everyday I realize a little more blessing in the daily mundane things, then they're not so mundane after all. I have more joy (when I get over self) and more of a ministry in home at this point of my life than I ever would being somewhere else. And I thank God for that!
