men would sometimes think it was "cute" to give a lady something way to powerful to shoot, then laugh when she fired
My husband had a friend who once tried this crap with me..................:D
let's just say HE NEVER tried to challenge me ( a woman) with "MANLY" stuff again;)
AND NO!! I didn't shoot the guy
I just hit his target mark on the first try that HE hadn't hit yet,:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

I guess if there is a women's forum only then there should be a men's only forum too but then again if not we can read what they are writing.:p

HA! But seriously, it's sad  that out of 94,110 members (as of this posting) just a handful want to sabotage something that could be a hope giver to MANY men who NEED it.

"That's why women should be banned from mens forums. Otherwise, they just get all over the place, saying things like "Oooh... Are you sure you can shoot that animal? It seems so young and cute...", polishing loaded weapons, tidying up the ammo packs, and just proving to be too big a distraction overall to do anyone any good. "

I hear what you say but don't think that is the answer, if we just stay guys and share guy stuff, that alone should keep a manly forum or thread sacrosanct.
We really need to include them in the shooting sports, I recall in my youth men would sometimes think it was "cute" to give a lady something way to powerful to shoot, then laugh when she fired, this turned off a LOT of women, who we now need to preserve the sport and constitutional right we enjoy that we may pass it down to our generations.
We can get use to pink AR's, grudgingly perhaps, but we can get used to them.
I don't know. I think we should just write the constitution in stone, and then it doesn't matter how many disagree with the 2nd amendment. The irony is that these pinkos would use what the second amendment protects to abolish it. Hypocrites.

Perhaps it should be rewritten, so that if one won't agree to shoot, neither can one vote?

God's girl- you noticed that as well about the BDF?
That is why I much prefer miscellaneous.
Often times there is not much of the Galatians 5 evidence there.
best wishes
BDF. Do you mean Bahrain Defence Force, or Backward Differentiation Formula? Because I didn't see any evidence of either...

I find women are inherently better at the shooting sports than men. I have heard it explained that athletic performance is a right brain function and women have more connective tissue in the Corpus Collosum (sp?) than men whereas as we tend to be left brain dominant.

okay, yeah, I see what you are saying...............
What I mean is that I have pm's with many people here on CC. Many times some of the issues that arise are NOT things as a woman that I can speak on.......... MAN THINGS. It would just be nice to have a place where there might be someone who can share with/ teach/ counsel, rather than just say all the time "I'll be praying for you" I know from personal experience that while yes it is comforting knowing someone is praying......... sometimes you need to know another person has been down the road and how they got through. Not just Jesus helped me.... but HOW. What did He do in your circumstance? How did your thinking change How did you keep pushing on when you just wanted to give up? What scripture did you stand on? Things like that.
That's ALL I'm going to say on the matter, so please don't reply to this and expect an answer.

I think I see what Godsgirl83 is saying. Some guys actually seem to not mind dumping their junk on ladies. Christian ladies ought to have a place to tell them to go to. Non-Christian Ladies certainly have a nice warm place to redirect them to.

I do think there should be a men-only forum for us guys to discuss relationship-related things among ourselves. I say that because often, when new female members come on here and share their relationship difficulties, they're directed to the ladies' forum to privately discuss such things. I realize that men typically don't talk about their feelings and emotions as often and in the same ways as women do, but I think we should also have a private space in which to do that if we need to.

Especially since so many men on here struggle with such issues as porn, lust or masturbation. It would be nice for them to have a private forum for that.

Are you sure you aren't projecting out on others your own struggles?
