Because the Philippines is a poor nation because it is rife with crimes, illegal drugs, political divisions, colonial mentality, crab mentality and political corruption.

I wish that I was born in a progressive countries such as Japan, France or the US.

It is misfortune to me that I was not born in a progressive country.
Seriously?

I'll speak as the descendant of revolutionaries, of my fathers whose blood stains our flag, our soil, and your ID. I'll speak as a son of men who fought and died for a country and never got to enjoy the freedom that was finally obtained, for they all died in battle before the Philippines was free.

Shame on you.

First, I know that our country isn't in the best place that it should be. I understand that there is a lot to improve. But I'll ask you: what have YOU done?

Are you someone who just wants to take what you want, without giving anything in return? Maybe you hate our country because it doesn't give you what you want. Well guess what? YOU ARE FREE WITHIN THE LAW, TO GET WHAT YOU WANT, IN OUR COUNTRY. Your are free to make yourself the life you want to life.

Second, the Philippines is your country. It is what God has given you. If there are things that you hate about our country, then by all means change it, or group up with like-minded people and change it!

You can do that! Because this is your country -- OWN IT!

You know what else? No one else from other countries will accept you as their own with the attitude that you have. Because they know you're there to benefit yourself. You don't want to give anything -- you just want to take without giving anything in return.

So you can leave, if you wish. No one will stop you. But don't expect people to welcome you with open arms.

You wouldn't fight for us -- your own blood, your own fellow citizens. Why would they put their trust in you?

Every country is unique and even progressive countries have imperfections. You should feel blessed that GOD gave you the gift of life. which ever country you were born in.

Can't believe you actually dislike philippines it is a very loving country compare to united states were they don't even care for their elderly sending their children away after turning 18 o_o

Can't you be thankful that you weren't born in north korea? Where all of the citizens there are too skinny except for their leader that looks like a pig

And that pig is a person who persecute kills a lot of people and he himself probably considered himself as someone who has the same authority as God

Should i not dislike him? Imagine being a leader all your people are all skinny while looking at yourself you are fat

I am just expressing my hate... Yeah you are right i am rude but right now i don't regret calling him a pig

I have been thankful that I was not born in the slums of New York City, but the fact is that you have what you have and the only hope of changing that is to work hard, and to seek Gods blessings, things can change , people can change, you have been given life, make the best of what you have.

How can anyone resent their Creator? I do not understand that at all. No matter our circumstances, our minds are free. Then, maybe it's a question of whether the grass is greener on the other side? You know what they say about that, the grass has to be mowed over there too. Even if you don't have grass, you can get the meaning here.

I miss Ugly. Reading him on this thread...he was always taking up for the ones being picked on. I hope he is doing well.

Jameen I don't know if you still visit here, but wanted to show you this ..

Proverbs 30:25-28 The ants are a people not strong, yet they provide their food in the summer; the rock badgers are a people not mighty, yet they make their homes in the cliffs; the locusts have no king, yet all of them march in rank; the lizard you can take in your hands, yet it is in kings' palaces.

Isn't that marvelous?

Just move countries. Not many of us are born as kings, and those who are just can't get up and leave. If you want to live in a progressive country like Japan, France or the US, just move there.

...with its crime, illegal drugs, political divisions, and political corruption?

These are all symptoms of a creation separated from it‘s creator. You’re suffering from a symptom called “the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.”

You are here in the Philippines for a reason. He never made a mistake when He planted you here because you are here to make a difference, to be the light and the salt to our fellow countrymen, to bring this nation to Christ through prayers and evangelism. The grass is greener not on the other side of the fence but rather where you are at, just water it.♥️
