For Phil 4:8

What are some things satan will never say nor shout nor whisper in our ears

The devil can even twist Scripture

Please list out truth and keep it "short and sweet"

[CharliRenee]

Jesus Christ is Lord, that He and Only He is the way, the truth, and the life.

[CharliRenee]

I don't much like to speculate on the ways of our adversary. I rather focus on the One who saved us from Him. But I do think it is good to remind ourselves of satan's hope for our destruction.

[danja]

I agree with CharliRenee .I know the devil has his plans to destroy me but I will focus on God ,his promises and his plans for my life .Of course we battle against evil but he ain't winning .God is bigger and on our side .God bless you

[JaumeJ]

He Who dwells in us is stronger than the world. He has overcome the world...…...These are not "just words" when we realize He will never let us be separated from His love……….

1PETER 5:8-9
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:
9.
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

EPH.6:10.-11.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in The Lord, and in the power of His might.
11.
Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

one of the devil's and his servants ways to deceive, are to tell a lot of 'truths first',
and then 'slowly and meticulously weave in his lies'...

as it is written:
MATT. 24:5.
For many shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

there are way to many 'out-there' right now saying that Jesus is Lord, and deceiving many...

[Nehemiah6]

That is something which only he knows. No need for a thread on this. But it will be THE OPPOSITE of Philippians 4:8.

[theanointedwinner]

it will be THE OPPOSITE of Philippians 4:8

Why?

[Nehemiah6]

Why?

Here's why:

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true vs Satan is a Liar and the Father of lies

whatsoever things are honest vs Satan is a Deceiver from the very beginning

whatsoever things are just vs Satan loves and promotes injustice

whatsoever things are pure vs Satan loves and promotes filth, garbage, and impurity

whatsoever things are lovely vs Satan loves that which is unlovely, ugly, and hateful

whatsoever things are of good report vs Satan loves evil and wickedness

if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise vs Satan says "I will makes sure they are exterminated"

SO WHY WOULD YOU ASK "WHY" WHEN IT IS SO OBVIOUS?

nevermind, the weakness of my brain I guess, thank you

"No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us! 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:37-39

because he masquerades as an angel of light. the Woman saw that the fruit was good and desirable for gaining knowledge. Lot saw that the whole plain was well watered, like the garden of God, like the land of Egypt.
that's what deceit is all about -- when someone is debased to the point that they desire ugliness because it is ugly, and hate because it is hate, and wickedness for wickedness's sake, they're not so much being 'deceived' anymore.

'worship the Lord and serve Him only'

'Jesus is the Christ, born in the flesh, risen from the dead, ascended to heaven to prepare a place for us'
