No matter where you post, when you do, expect responses. I was not aware that freedom of speech was the issue but two things I am rminded of, one, this subject should be in another forum,, and two when President GW Bush said "You are either wit us or against us" bevore going into destroy many people on the false premis there were WMDs, he took away my freedom of speech and even my freedom to think.
Do not talk about freedom of speech when a president is allowed to take it away in one sentenc. Now I believe this belongs somewhere, perhaps in a forum labeled politics.

Sadly, I do not even think they teach it anymore. Alot of kids today think it was all a conspiracy and it never really happened (at least alot of the stuff in WW2)
I think they want them to forget so they too can be swindled into believing socialism is a good thing and not a bad thing. I am dumbfounded my country fought this evil for a century and now it is about to win its way into my own country.

people 35 and under did not grow up under threat of nuclear war with the u.s.s.r .

The main one who keeps bringing up politics is you. The topic is 'freedom of speech' which affects all areas of life including politics and our faith. At least the Founding Fathers weren't so 'super spiritual' as to be blinded to the necessity of the 1st Amendment guaranteeing such liberty to all people. Perhaps that was because they had experienced the reality of what tyranny can do to a person's free exercise of their faith. But naww, as long as it's me 'n Jesus, everything is copasetic.
Again, that subjec in itself is a subjec concerning the politics of man. We all know when it comes to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Yeshua, the Apostles and Paul all exercised their faith even against the mandates of the governments of their time.
If you are so concerned about freedom of speech form your own political party and fix it for thosw who you believe need the governors of this world to approve them.. I am not intereste in your banter further on this subject. You are talking aspects of politics. Do not feign otheriwse.

I believe you need to read up on the persecuted Church, how apathy lends itself to totalitarianism and what role selfish thinking plays in the big picture. But thank you for your opinion and your attempt at quelling my 'freedom' here by directing me elsewhere.

Its funny how one of our socialist [residential nominies answered that very question by saying we are promoting socialism, not communism and not a dictatorship. Either blind himself. Or trying to blind the people by hiding the fact, that ALL forms of socialism will result in dictatorships and communist like stated, because the working class people will not stand for it to long, and they will need the military to shut them up. Thus causing the communist/nazi state.
