You don't need a reality TV show to lose weight. I recommend finding a weight loss support group in your local area. I am sure you will receive insightful counsel and also it would be an opportunity for you to meet new people as based from your previous post you feel somewhat isolated from the outside world. There will probably be a few young people your age as well and you can more readily relate to them. I will say a prayer, not for the TV show but for God's will and desire be accomplished with your life, especially anything related to your general health.

Steph I am sorry if I am harsh in my words but you really need to do something about it...and you are right you need to take care of your health.
I've been thinking about my health too...because in the last 2 years I gained so much weight...it worries me...although I don't have health issues yet like high blood pressure and other things I am not getting any younger...my body responds different from the food I eat now than when I was like your age.
Lately,I found myself watching on YouTube about weight loss successful stories.Reality show like that helps a lot of overweight people and for me if that will help you that's amazing...it is not easy to lose weight because you really need determination and discipline...and if entering a reality show will going to help you..why not...but I believe there's so much more behind the scenes and to what the reality organizers showing to the viewers.
Be ready be strong. Remember always that there are two kinds of people in the world those who will support you and build your confidence up...and those who will tear it down...there are those who will throw insults on your face or will make fun of you and you need to take them both...the negative and the positive and use both as your motivation in your weight loss journey. The success of your weight loss is all up to you... no one can do it for you...

Today is the final cut off day for the online applications, and again I'm praying if this is GOD'S WILL that I get on the show to help with my health. God's will. Not mine, not yours, not my mom's, not my friend's, God's.

If there isn't a local community or group that you can become a part of to help you lose weight, then you could try taking walks and eating healthier, and smaller portioned food. If you don't have a lot of money, then I would suggest picking up cans of food and using them for weight lifting. There may be local shelters that need assistance, and you could exercise by helping them out. Also, asking your primary care physician would be a great place to start. There's also a Natural Health thread that may be helpful as well.
