He died to save us once and for all.
If we can lose salvation, gain it, lose it, gain it, then He must be crucified over and over.
The ONLY thing we CAN lose our salvation over is, denying Him, that He ever lived,
and that He ever died for our sins.
Many don't understand that God's grace is only the beginning.
It is God's beginning of giving certain people the opportunity of being saved.
The beginning is just an opportunity to use our free-will to God's satisfaction.
It is NOT God's work alone ... man has to co-operate to God's satisfaction.
Our salvation is a process, and the new covenant demands the co-operation of both parties!
The new covenant is NOT about robots (with no free will) being saved by God's grace.
The LORD does NOT want robots in heaven with Him ... Wake up. folks!
(Ref: not me, only the NT)

You (dcontroversal) are Known by your words and will give an account to Him!
Excuse me have you even been born again? Born of the Spirit and water?
I pity you sir! You are a sad example for anyone to follow and if some should be so deluded,
I pray for the Spirit of Truth to reveal YOU unto them, that they not walk in darkness with you!💖💖💖
MANY have been deceived with many false doctrines from Satan.

I have also been baptized in the Holy Ghost!
I walk as close to the word as I possibly can under the leadership of the Spirit!
I die to sin daily, examining myself as to choice, motive, attitude love, ect.
I will stand before Christ just as other born again believers will!💖💖💖
This is the problem ...
Way too few BACs have been baptized with the Holy Spirit,
which is the second work of grace,
and which is so important to the receiving and to the
understanding of the deeper spiritual things of God.

Not having it does not keep BACs from salvation, however.

Blue I would say to you to not be led astray by many words! Just prior to changing this to an x you had agreed! I am sorry for you!💖💖💖
My word of caution dear sister, is there are many different levels of expression, awareness,
life and experience here from not quite functional to very determined and destructive.

The problem with this medium is we have only a few words to assess this, but if we saw face
to face, and the different issues people have, physical, social, communicative, financial, family,
supported, connected, disconnected, our words would probably be addressed quite differently
to different members. Some are churched people with chips on their shoulders, while others
saints who were very stray lost sinners plucked from the fire. Others are house bound with no
church opportunities, while some are deeply integrated into house fellowships etc.

So the phrases here are read very differently by different contributors and often meant differently,
yet the inexperienced read it as if it is obvious from the beginning. It is why this medium can be
very divisive and miss-leading and would often be helped with some education and learning.
God bless you in your adventure on line.

No, He did His part.
That's what He meant when He said, "It is finished!".
His part on earth was finished (except for the dying).
Now, He is in heaven interceding for us before the Father.
Now, it's the Holy Spirit's job to fully sanctify us unto holiness.
But, guess what? ...
We have free will to disobey all day long, if we so desire.

Free will allows me to answer this post with my own post.
So if I have free will now, how is this not free will? Who to your mind
chose for me to respond?

If you are meaning we are not free to do good works, this is not the issue
of free will, be the issue of what is a good work and what is not a good work.

You have a will the question is how "free" is your will.

There is a concept, our wills are not our own, ie we only do things because of our environment,
our genetics, our personality, our processes of thought. Some biologists have gone so far as to
claim all our actions are just our brains choosing to respond with the illusion it is us choosing.

This is called determinism, where some believe humans live.

Now though we have choice, it has limits and boundaries, which do not change its freedom but
its impact. Some confuse these two issues. So I can choose to defy gravity, but I am limited by
the laws of physics and how I go about it. So my free will does not mean I am free to do anything.

Part of growing up is knowing the difference between the things one must just accept and the
things one can change. But this does not change the reality of our free will.

As well Mr. BCsenior ...

Our forgiveness isn't dependent upon God's present mercy, but Jesus' once and for all sacrifice for all time for all sin 2000 and some years ago.

God in His mercy sent Jesus, the Son of God, to die on our behalf and get rid of the thing that separated us from God.
We are now reconciled.

And we are in possession of positional sanctification.

Hebrews 10:10
10 And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

I come in peace...:D ❤🙏😀

I am so thankful for His love, mercy, calling, truth, direction, strength, patience, shielding, power, healing, and comfort and so much more, but most of all, for Him

Doesn't it come down to our heart condition, that He wants us to obey Him, but with no other reason than because we trust and love Him, because we Honor Him and His Glory, not because we will be punished?
And we are able to, because of Him. He suffered and died because we can't do it on our own.

Should we fear Him, well I have no doubt that He can do whatever He wants to me, keep me or squash me.

He and His wrath instinctually gives me the deer in the headlights expression deep within my belly. And as Jeremiah said about Him putting fear in our hearts so that He won't lose us, makes sense to me, that He did it to help us seek Him.

If we are His, we will seek Him, and in Him we can rest. If not, we won't. I am so thankful for His wooing.

Probably too simple, but reasonable to me. It seems to bring harmony to the scriptures and for me that is VERY IMPORTANT!!

I believe He wants our love, our hearts and that is only possible because He loved us first.

I believe my Salvation is 100% in His hands, that the final say is up to Him. I, therefore, put my faith in His promises to keep me in His hands. That being said, the words are shallow and empty if I don't seek to come into agreement with Him in all areas of my life.

Thank You Lord for Your sanctification, for Your help when it comes to overcoming and enduring, even when it hurts like....

We are each responsible on this earth, right now, for how we react and act. No one here knows the hearts of others. We often misjudge our own. For me, that is why we must examine ourselves.

As a matter of fact, in chking myself right now, I see me teetering off this soap box, loosing my balance, lol. I also see that I have work. that instead of procrastinating, I should be preparing, lol. Will I now go to lake of fire...no. However, I might just lose a client if I don't get ta getting.

God Bless you all Brothers and Sisters. In Him, we are One. Thank You Lord.

Notice that it is conditional ... BACs have their part to play in their salvation.
People can lose their position no matter who they are, where they are, etc.
God don't want no robots comin' in here, hear?
Only people who have responded, etc. with their God-given free-will.
No robots allowed!

Terrific post, CR ... keep 'em comin', sister!
Yes indeed ... it comes down to our heart condition!

Just what will be the end of those who refuse to yield to Him and obey Him?

Well thank you. Those of us who do have faith are bondservants, choosing to follow because He has set us free.

We love Him because He first loved us.

Its not that I am not picking a side, being tossed about, but that I see them both having merit, scripturally because of Him our faith is effectual.

However, there are times when my fruit is nonexistent. I think that is true for all of us. If He were to come, however, before repenting of the fruitless condition, I have faith that my faith, my heart condition, will be counted as righteousness.

Do our actions and thoughts affect our heart condition...Absolutely.

We grieve and quench the spirit often.

Praise the Lord for sanctification.

If we do because we have to, then where are our motives? He died because that line of thinking didn't work. We needed Him. We do because His work within has us walking humbly with Him.

Yes, obedience matters to believers. I think on this we can ALL agree.

I just know that true salvation is rooted on a firm foundation, the rock of ages, solid and steady. His work inspires and empowers ours.

I don't count myself as wise, having it all figured out, not even close, only the the One who is, who dwells within, does.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. John 15 4-9

Many verses about abiding, so easy to look up. Not wise to scoff/ laugh /deny these verses exist, they are for our learning.

1 John 2:28 Now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming.

Dost thou agree that da blue means ...
By what He accomplished,
and by the indwelling Holy Spirit,
BACs have been set FREE from being slaves of sin?
BACs no longer HAVE to sin ... they are FREE to NOT sin, if they so choose!
