Ephesians 6:

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

The wiles of the devil are his methods, his strategies, his lies which he uses to ensnare people and bring them into bondage.

In Ephesians 4:14 we are warned to not be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine by those who use deception (sleight of man) and trickery (cunning craftiness) whereby they lie in wait (same word as "wiles" in Eph 6:11) to deceive.

To deceive by way of deception and trickery shown in Eph 4:14 equals the wiles of the devil shown in Eph 6:11.

In Eph 4:14 we are told to be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine.

In Eph 6:10-11 we are told to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might … put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand.

Barnes Notes on the Bible states:

"Against the wiles of the devil - The word rendered "wiles" (μεθοδεία methodeia), means properly that which is traced out with "method;" that which is "methodized;" and then that which is well laid - art, skill, cunning. It occurs in the New Testament only in Ephesians 4:14, and in this place. It is appropriately rendered here as "wiles," meaning cunning devices, arts, attempts to delude and destroy us. The wiles "of the devil" are the various arts and stratagems which he employs to drag souls down to perdition. We can more easily encounter open force than we can cunning; and we need the weapons of Christian armor to meet the attempts to draw us into a snare, as much as to meet open force. The idea here is, that Satan does not carry on an open warfare. He does not meet the Christian soldier face to face. He advances covertly; makes his approaches in darkness; employs cunning rather than power, and seeks rather to delude and betray than to vanquish by mere force. Hence, the necessity of being constantly armed to meet him whenever the attack is made. A man who has to contend with a visible enemy, may feel safe if he only prepares to meet him in the open field. But far different is the case if the enemy is invisible; if he steals upon us slyly and stealthily; if he practices war only by ambushes and by surprises. Such is the foe that we have to contend with - and almost all the Christian struggle is a warfare against stratagems and wiles. Satan does not openly appear. He approaches us not in repulsive forms, but comes to recommend some plausible doctrine, to lay before us some temptation that shall not immediately repel us. He presents the world in an alluring aspect; invites us to pleasures that seem to be harmless, and leads us in indulgence until we have gone so far that we cannot retreat."
Barnes, Albert. "Commentary on Ephesians 6:11". "Barnes' Notes on the New Testament". 1870.
As we are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Eph 6:10), we are then empowered to put on the whole armor of God so we are fully clothed and able to stand, withstand, resist against these schemes and lies and it is ).

We have a God Who provides every piece of armor needed in order to stand, withstand, resist these schemes and lies.

We have a God Who has overcome the wicked one and Who shows us the way in which we are to walk so that we are able to stand, withstand, resist these schemes and lies.

We can choose to ignore satan's schemes, and bury our heads in the sand when his lies are exposed.

Or we can choose to stand, withstand, resist and help others who are taken captive by satan’s lies and schemes.

Ok but then if its not ok to be neither, then what you are saying is that those that are confused about it ought not to be confused, the reality is THEY ARE CONFUSED and they are trying to sort out why. That is why some are getting all these hormone treatments. Because imagine if YOU were born in a male body but all the time you felt female. Wouldnt that be weird? But it happens!

If it didnt happen, then there would be no such thing as transgender people!

Unforutanately in reality there are. The box is only there because those people dont know what to pick. Its nothing to do with YOU if you know what you are.

Look at it this way, yes theres believers and unbelievers right. But actually, for christians, we can discern theres believers, and theres agnostics and athiests. Agnostics are people that dont really know God. Athiests are those whove rejected Him. It is the latter category that have no hope.

Nobody is saying ITS OK to be transgender. I dont think anybody actually born chooses to be or wants to be. Its just something people that are confused need to deal with. You need to pray for them. You cant resist on behalf of them, they need to have a relationship with God first to be able to resist whatever lie they were told or feelings they have. I know a test tube baby born a girl is now a man. Thats my neighbours sisters son/daughter. She cost thousands of dollars just to be conceived, and probably thousands more to have surgery to be male. But you know what, thats the parents choice to spend all that money to begin with. When people go against God all sorts of stuff happens. So if the mother (what about the dad?) isnt praying then how is it your problem. Are you actually looking after her son? Like are you his caregiver? Are you casting those demons out?

Look in the bible about a girl possesed with an evil spirit of divination that was MALE. See acts 16:16-18 kjv
Ok I went and looked at thar verse in acts and have a question, totally unrelated.

Following after Paul and us, she kept crying out, saying, “These men are bond-servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation.” She continued doing this for many days. But Paul was greatly annoyed, and turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” And it came out at that very moment.
Acts 16:17‭-‬18 NASB

We know she had that she was possessed because it said so, and paul casted the spirit out.

However, what perplexes me is she was proclaiming what was true, right?

These men are bond-servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation.”

Was it that it was annoying because of the repetitiveness or simply because Paul's spirit within made him aware?

Acts 16:18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

Paul was "grieved" – Greek diaponéō (from 1223 /diá, "thoroughly," intensifying poneō, "to labor, toil") – properly, bring on exhausting, depleting grief which results in "piercing fatigue."

Whatever was going on, it was more than someone merely saying "these men are bond-servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation".

We know that there was some devil spirit activity going on to the point where Paul was exhausted. Paul had to deal with the effects of this devil spirit on the inhabitants of the city.

Yes that passage was maybe cos of the unclean spirit trying to draw attention to himself...the devils do believe, but they tremble also recognising Jesus.

She was usings this spirit as soothsaying, which in modern terms might be what is know. As chanelling, where you speak with someone elses voice that supposedly died or is not your own. Thats why its interesting that THIS spirit was not the damsel but seemed to be using her as a vehicle, and it was male (according to KJV translation)

She was possessed with this spirit.

Oh now that is the sweetest possible way to look at that x, hahaha.

For me, though, I'd rather use my words than the x, I have used it twice, though, and thanks to u, now I shall look on those 2 as merely the kiss of Christ...:D
