when I see something on this site is it alright for me to take a copy of it? as the topic says I'm not a thief. i like the pictures in life bits for one thing alone with other stuff.

You would have to ask the person who posted the picture since some images that people post are public domain but others are personal pictures to which the OP technically owns the copyright.

Life-bits has A LOT of great pics in it huh?
Most users have a space under their life bits where you can post comments, so if your not sure if it's a personal pic or not (there are some WONDERFUL photographers here, they post BEAUTIFUL pics that blow away things even in nature magazines....) you can always leave a message and ask.
It will have the life bit, scroll down and there is a caption if they made one, scroll down a little more and it may say " There are no comments to display" if nothing has been posted, scroll down and there will be a typing box like in the forums to leave comments/questions.
As Godsgirl just said, many of the photographs posted in Life-bits are pictures taken by the person who posted them thus technically they own the copyright to them, even some of the images with quotes in them are user generated ( I know Magenta produces most of her own graphic work) which gives them the ownership of copyright. By posting an original image here the owner of the copyright is granting Christian Chat permanent, irrevocable license to the image (It's in the TOS) but they do not give up their copyright
It is best to ask the person who posted the image since they would know the source.
I must repent from violating anything that @CharliRenee might have copyright-ed and repent from "borrowing" her CC life-bit photos without giving her credit and I hope that she forgives me
...Let it be said any pic, other than of me or mine (my bio family),are completely and totally okay dokay for sharing. Some of mine are paid forward from others, others I made with the fontee app. Either way, they are up for grabs, use them well brother, hehe. Nothing to forgive, but thoughtful of you to ask. I need nor want ANY credit. But you are free to put me in your will. Hahaha
Ditto for my pics. the only thing is most of mine have my name on them. but if you have paint shop pro they can be took off.
