CONTROVERSY

David! Please tell me about yourself! I haven't seen YOU yet, just the horse you ride on ...lol! I know there has to be more to YOU THAN ANTAGONISTIC CONTROVERSY! Somewhere underneath must be a warm caring person! I believe that! Blessings!🌞🌞🌞

HAH...The horse I ride on is named TRUTH......... ;)

What do you want to know...? My dad was killed when I was three, I had a hard up bringing with abusive step dads (x 3) and luckily had a foundation in church because of a faithful grandmother....Highly intelligent, 12th grade algebra at age 7, graduated school early, U.S. Marine in the 80's honorably discharged, did a few years of heavy drug usage after....got right with the Lord.....not only did I go to seminary to make up for lost bible study time where we studied through the bible twice a year for 4 years, but also am a Machinist by trade...parts for jets, missiles, bombers and even the space shuttle.....Retired at 45, have 50 acres in Missouri with 10 houses...24 trips to Australia the last 4 years...wrote a 212 page book on the second coming of Christ, have been spreading the word of God by teaching, preaching, witnessing for the last 31 years and in all honesty have witnessed to millions dia internet, radio, cable T.V. and teaching or doing revivals at church camps and churches in 4 states a 3 different countries.......

Why do people think the serpent is bad? Didn’t God say all things were Good? I never read that God spoke Satan into creation... so where does evil come from? Is our ignorance the darkness?
Was the snake truly evil,
Or just really clever?
Who set it all up,
And who pulled the lever?

Believe you? Or God? I am in the Christian chat room. Am I not a believer to be here as well?

Ok wow, so there is MORE TO YOU! Thank you for sharing! I'm sorry about your childhood, mine wasn't great either but we survived! I know that you have intelligence, that's an easy read! I now know that you care about the word and sharing it with others! It's good to see a patriot who went gung ho to be successful and is now living his dream! One point softer answers and sweet as sugar with less spice is a good recipe! I thought you were a man of hatred when we battled! Blessing !

Even Peter? Who Jesus also called Satan.. and that he would build his church there... is that false or true.
False on two counts.

Jesus never called Peter satan.
And Jesus would not build his church on satan.

Luke 22:31-32

Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial
(Matt. 26:31–35; Mark 14:27–31; John 13:36–38)
31 And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”

John 21:15-18

Jesus Restores Peter
15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”
16 He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”
17 He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?”
And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.”
Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. 18 Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.”

Jesus would never ask satan if he loved him or build his church on him.

Maybe it is just me and my life experiences but why do women always try to feminize men?

I

I didn’t call him Satan. Jesus did. Matthew 16:23

Luke 22:31-33

Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial
(Matt. 26:31–35; Mark 14:27–31; John 13:36–38)
31 And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
33 But he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You, both to prison and to death.”

Matthew 16:23
23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

This is written in Philokalia

Evil does not exist by nature, nor is any man naturally evil, for God made nothing that was not good. When in the desire of his heart someone conceives and gives form to what in reality has no existence, then what he desires begins to exist. We should therefore turn our attention away from the inclination to evil and concentrate it on the remembrance of God; for good, which exists by nature, is more powerful than our inclination to evil. The one has existence while the other does not, except when we give it existence through our actions.

St. Diadochus of Photiki

interesting

2 of us refer to scripture for the question of where the devil came from and both those posts are ingored

is somebody here just to argue?

starting to wonder

ANYTIME someone asks a bunch of questions, then in their next post shows they ALREADY have rock-solid views on each of those questions... is just baiting everyone into an argument.

They show their motives immediately in their actions.

The OP had no sincere questions, and just clearly started this thread to argue.
