You do have me thinking, for sure. Our thoughts don't align on certain things for sure, but my apologies if I twisted your words. It is uncomfy for me to say evil God, that is a HUGE oxymoron, such a notion causes fear and trembling, but maybe I am misunderstanding you. God is Love, and is opposite of Evil. I don't have all the ins and outs of God's design, but yeah, I am firm and settled on that. God is sweet, not bitter. I do agree with you that He is able to use the inclinations and tendencies of the darkest of minds. He can do whatever He wants. He did cause pharohs heart to harden, and He can choose He shows compassion. I trust He knows what He is doing. If I am to speculate, He used Pharoah's own stubborn pride against Him. I don't know. I just feel very uncomfortable with the notion of God scheming, it points to a darkness to me. He is light.

I can see this post has turned into a he said she said match... which is Not the Word of God... Let the Word of God prove me... The Word of God has One Law.. One Meaning.. One Love... One Glory And ONE interpretation ...which all cumulates to the Spirit of Christ.. whether interpreted by men as Good or Bad.. for their Love or for their Evil.. God gets the glory for EVERYTHING... and he will continue to Get the glory for what he is STILL doing in the Earth today...
I just joined this site a few days ago... Put a picture of a snake as the Avatar... and asked a question about a serpent in the garden... and knowing You do not know the Person on the other side of the screen...
but if you can’t see past an image.. How will you see God?
The Word of God that made the man’s mouth, is the same Word of God that also made the snake... For any man to claim one creature in the creations purpose is greater than another’s is a lie!! It is not a man’s say so to claim Good or evil in the face Of a God that made Everything.. God purpose is the only purpose..
And you can assume whatever your heart desires about me, or my truth, my belief... it pricks my heart to know that Christian chat isn’t really Christ like at all... not very welcoming to say the least.
BTW... attn bible scholars!!! ... The priests and Rabbis are the ones that wanted Jesus dead... Not Judas... but the Lord knew that already... and allowed Betrayal to work for his good...
The biblically informed, and most religious men wanted the Word of God to die... because their works were evil.. how fascinating that is to me... So conclusion: The religious men and woman... full of the knowledge of the scriptures... Didnt even know when their God was speaking to them?

I read somewhere that the truth will set you free. I think that it was in the bible or perhaps a self-help book of some sort.
Not agreeing with you is NOT attacking you. Personally, I think you underestimate God and His character to a degree that would leave me terrified and hopeless. My God is of hope, mercy, justice, wisdom, love, order, power, truth, authority, and all those combined. He created us so how on earth would we be so lofty as to suggest He doesn't know His creations thoughts... He knows satans as well, and that dosen't mean He created His thoughts, only the choice of which direction they would go.
Yeah but you suggested satan could have been God in disguise. So really, by your logic, maybe we could all be too and we don't even know it.
God is NOT diabolical.

Good day to you.. I apologize for not responding to anyone directly.. But i refuse to answer any more questions... Some of you only ask l, so you can Judge and comment on what i believe... Trying to be boastful if whatever knowledge you say you have... But I don’t have to defend nor offend anyone, including myself. For the Word of God is a double edged sword. Therefore we all can be wounded.... I am a sinner like everyone else.. I believe in the name of Jesus Christ... And that God is the Author and the finisher of ALL things!! ... whether Good or evil in the sight of MAN.. Gods vision is greater. He said it all when he said “ I AM “. Therefore no one else gets any glory for what he does in the heavens or earth...
I am glad some of you have a sense of humor, and the sarcasm you use along with the Word is funny to you... But You will reap what you sow... and your words shall return on your own head someday... It is divine and blessed... And alive.. and something to fear... We should be diligently seeking the truth about God anyway....not just the God of Christians. But the God of Heaven and the Earth.... which in case you didn’t know... Owns the rights to good and evil men...whether a Jew, a Muslim or any other man.. God made everything!! And all for the sake of his purpose... Therefore God is not Evil.. but Good. But will use evil for the good of men in their ignorance... and YOU. Wretched man!!! Whoever you are.. Are no one to judge evil in the Face of Good. For man is not God to say the least!!!
May the Father’s Will of truth and knowledge find you all in peace...
if you would like to know how evil works for Good... check out Genesis 37:1 until the end... How God Used ...envy, jealousy and hate. To save Israel and his brethren in the day of famine... with a great deliverance. And then Joseph forgave them all for their Evil... did God not use one for the other ..(evil for good) and the other for the sake of one...
Oh. Did one of these online senior pastors/ commentators say that god was not a God of evil? And only the God of Good?? How can any man say such a thing....
And for the last time... stop twisting my words!!! I said God was GOOD. But uses evil men and their ignorance for his purpose.
And I imagine God to be full of love and mercy and grace... but the same God of Love also sends wrath.. and storms and pestilence and flood and fire and more... He Throws men over a boat to be swallowed by a whale... nails a man to cross.. creates desolation and destruction. Knots cords, destroys temples and laws and doctrines... and kills for whom he loves...
Awwww... now doesn’t that all sound so cute and sweet and precious and cuddly...who are you to say that’s God is only a God of this or that... HE IS ALL THINGs!!!

Exit out of a trolly thread really.... I think just disassemble the profile would be better.. There is no need to try and commune with men who insist on calling people names!! Troll .. Luciferian... Satan.. and whatever else you all said. I thank God for Jesus that he had more restraint than to call men blasphemous names...I guess that’s why he’s the real man.. and you all are Not!!!
If you are interested in what the Word says about the enemy here are some scriptures that pertain to him. I have no idea what you mean when you say "you make it sound like satan is still living" his spirit is still "active". Tis not life but death and destruction...so if that's what you mean by not living in contrast to the living God then we are on the same page. You haven't said anything new, the bit about Joseph was intriguing but I think you are reaching there. Notice the word doesn't talk about Joseph too much. Why was Judah chosen for the lineage of Christ? Why was the first king of Israel of the tribe of Benjamin?
Jude 1:6 talks about what Angels that rebelled are eligible for.
Rev 20:2 " And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years"
Note: this is after the fall of Babylon and after the beast and the false prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire and right before the millennial reign. Serpent which is...I'll leave you to conclude from there.
It is interesting to note that they are cast in alive but that is a different discussion
Rev 20:10 "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
John 8:44 "...He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh his own: for his a liar and the father of it." Referring directly to the devil in regards to the Pharisees lack of belief calling them his children.
2nd Corinthians 11:14 speaks of him being transformed into an angel of light in the KJV. It is quite interesting to note the differences in other versions because that makes more sense but when you look at the greek transform means "transfigure or disguise" so it remains the same, just a little more clear (for me personally).
You asked at another point (or possibly it was someone quoting from your site) that God needed to see through the serpents eyes or some such. No offense but that's a rather large leap that one that feeds the sparrows and knows their needs would have to stoop that low. If he needed to see in this fashion, scripture would have made this plain. He's not blind and he's not deaf. Think of the amount of creative power necessary to knit the inmost parts. The fractal patterns of snowflakes. How each of our tears look different under a microscope depending on the emotions.
The argument "could" be made that if the Lord is omniscient then he is present in all...that does NOT mean he is in agreement with all. His will is supreme but his will is also to provide choice and a some sense of agency. Understanding how that affects the angelic realm is beyond our ability. We are finite, thus limited. Even if we have eternal spirits that does not make us infinite.
Now can an argument be made that the Lord lets you hang yourself so to speak with your actions, unfettered thought/ideas. Sure. Seemingly this was done with Pharaoh, who willfully chose to reject the Lord in favor of his own glory at great cost to his people. Again another discussion.
Someone else mentioned blasphemy of the Spirit and I'll be honest with you, I've taken the rabbit trails that you are going down FAR. It wasn't until I did a little research that I realized I was falling into some serious doctrinal errors. It's cool when we think we have unlocked a mystery or attained some hidden knowledge that no one else has. In which case I would highly encourage you to be wary of [1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Timothy 4:3-4] as well as factor in:
Revelation 10:7 "But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets."
It is also important to note who beelzebub is according to scriptures...how demons are described as "unclean spirits". Nothing more.
If someone said I was way off base I would be open to how precisely. Sure I'd get a little angry and it would rattle me but then proverbial wisdom (proverbs) comes to mind about accepting chastisement/correction. Not to say it "is" off base, just that it is a mark of wisdom to "test the spirits". You have said several times "Are you God?" in response to someone seemingly to negate any authority that their words have despite being based off scripture. Do you see this in the New Testament? The only times I can see this occuring in the Old testament is when the Lord "Himself" speaks to someone that is in error.
I'm open to further discussion if you would like. My only advice would be to let a "wind" pass you by and see if it returns. Truth endures and can stand up against any scrutiny. We must invite the spirit of the Lord to give us understanding otherwise we have nothing.
