Here is my solution: No snitching policy! We dont play that where im from!

If you dish it out, take it, dont run and cry to the moderators. Snitching on a christian forum come on yall!

You are a patient man OnceFallen! Have you considered working as a peacekeeper? You are doing a good job bro keep it God bless you
I don’t dish out false accusations. What I said was true.

How about if we don’t accuse people of saying what they didn’t say? I know i am going to be accused of the same, but no one will be able to produce a single example where I was corrected and did not admit my mistake. I can produce dozens of pages where people misrepresent me, even after I produce proof that they mispoke. Many pages

Oh but several falsely reported argueless as saying DC said its ok to lie to the Holy Ghost. Never said. Argue less said “ ask DC for his stance on lying to the Holy Spirit, because DC said Ananais and Saphira went to heaven. The text nowhere says they were believers, but that’s another matter

I have misunderstood people in the past, but I didadmitted I was wrong when corrected. I did not continue to propagate the misinformation

Although some users that have reported posts are just as guilty as the posts they have reported, plenty of people report people who are being jerks without being provoked. If it weren't for the occasional reported posts the jerks would run amok.

As for my being patient, I maintain my sanity by staying out of BDF as much as possible. ;)

I fornicated as a Christian after my first wife left me, does that mean I’m a fornicator in Gods eyes.... also this was twenty years ago have I reached the statute of limitations yet?
I did all kinds of things in the past, but then grace appeared bringing forgiveness and teaching me to deny ungodly lusts. Am I perfect in this? No, but I’m heading in the right direction, not just staying in my rebellion.

So if the grace that has appeared to all men has taught you, if you have learned of God, you are no longer a fornicator.

He that is able to understand, let him understand

The context is that all things are lawful for Christians but not all things are beneficial for Christians to do.

Why don’t you just substitute the word lie with fornicator. You are a liar, I’m a liar and so is everyone else living on this planet.

All things are lawful for us in Christ so we are not counted as liars in Gods eyes.
The grace of God teaches us to deny ungodliness and to live soberly and righteously in this present age.

So those who are taught by the grace of God are progressively denying ungodliness and learning to live right, not sinless, but walking in the Spirit

Oh, forgot to add. Second paragraph is a descriptive statement. Indicative mode.

So do you agree that

A. Believers can fornicate and not be fornicators because all things are now lawful

B. Do you believe that 1 Cor 6:9-11 means that fornicators, liars, and adulterers who do not repent may go to heaven, they just will not inherit

C. Do you believe that unrepentant fornicators, adulterers, liars, idolators, those who practice such things, and never repent, have eternal life?

D. Do you believe that 1 John 3:9 is talking about only the new nature, and not the christian

Are these things gospel?

These things have been stated here. I can give links if you want. Are they sound doctrine do you have a pisition on these?
I will answer for you. John Knox and I know the points listed above are not gospel, because the grace of God teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and live soberly and righteously in this present age.

So saved by Grace alone, but Grace does more than create rebellious children, but it progressively conforms us to the image of Christ. That’s also what Grace does.

You have nothing on me, but your inability to he honest with my stance, deceiver!
What is your stance on Galatians 6:9-11? Tell us again, so everyone can see I represented your stance honestly.

When I said the people in Galatians 6:9 and 10 will not inherit the kingdomdid you or did you not answer that it doesn’t say they’re not in it. Do you want a link again

That amounts to being in the kingdom but not inheriting the kingdom

But the Bible says that all who have faith will overcome and all who overcome will inherit ALL things
No such thing as non inheriting believers.

You said what you said and I can produce the post.

I think some people like the attention, better to just ignore, not give them the means.

It would be nice to discuss scripture instead of being offended to the point we think we have to attack, (i have been guilty of this in the heat if a moment) so i am not innocent)Sometimes we need to just walk away for a few days

My apologies for the insults you have had to take here friend. We all should be able to have our say without being called a liar or some other degrading term.

Thank you Lightskin for speaking freely here, and for your kind words.
May God continue to lead you by His Holy Spirit, and with His everlasting love, in Jesus Christ.
I was going to let it go, until I read this. This is one of the places that made me say what I said...
Jesus says no one that has been given to Him by our Heavenly Father shall be lost. NO ONE! What don’t you understand about that?

You admittedly disagree. By your standards, the power of sin is greater than the power of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. You need to wake up and realize we serve a Mighty God, not some wet noodle flapping around in the wind.
If you can find ONE post where I said I disagree with the fact no one who the Father has given to Christ will be lost or that the power of sin is greater than the saving power of Christ. Show one post where I said either of these and I will apologize to lightskin

It is not a matter of him havinfmg his day. It is a matter of what he said in the link above which is a misrepresentation

See post 107,491. Read the link of light skins quote and show me one place where I said the things that were attributed to me, and I will apologize to everyone

Otherwise I have every right to say my position was misrepresented

Show me where I said.

A. I disagree that none of Christ’s sheep will be lost (Lightskin’s claim)

B. I believe the power of sin is greater than the power of Christ (lightskin)

Or.

C. Regeneration maintained by sin confession. (Undergrace)

Show me one place and I will apologize to everyone

Better do better than that.

Post 107,310 is talking about the descriptive aspect of regenerate people, ie, a new nature. NOTHING to do with Christ’s sheep being lost. Everything to do with regeneration.

Post 107,317 does not even address what I said in postc107,317

I do not conflate regeneration with preservation. Different ASPECTS of salvation.

Regeneration happens once at the beginning. Preservation continues from beginning to end.

The fact that I believe in preservation shows that I do not believe Christ’s sheep can be lost. And I have stated this dozens of times

Tru again

but, here is the thing.
what you said here is true. but, if you teach that regeneration is instant, and looks the same for everyone, then that is not true.

so, that is why lordship salvation is bad. it will lead to pride ( I did it!!), despair, ( I came to Christ, but still struggle with ….. I guess I am not really saved.), or just being a faker. all bad

Lets add this as well..... far more problematic.
107005

You rub elbows with people who say that a believing fornicator, will go to heaven even if he doesn’t repent. You want documentation

And said that Ananias and Saphira died in grace.
Notice believing... in this faulty schema, a person is under compulsory change to prove regeneration, yet we still have the flesh and the flesh is not being redeemed, it is His righteousness we learn to live out...... and learn to lean into and express outwardly!!

This is the failure of "perservance" of the saints doctrine and trying to divide scripture according to descriptive statements which does not work.

And @Budman has the gospel of grace absolutely correct and it is not gnosticism.... and I hope he comes back soon because he is another Grace champion... on the narrow path.

When one comes to understand the severity and grace of God's love with Ananias and Saphira than one has truly found the narrow path
